The mods are 100% drm free. After all i have already made props, a tileset, and am working on a lengthy campaign. All of hit as a mod it stored in a zip file which you drop in the right folder on your hardrive. There is no DRM prevneting mods of any sort from being made. The game is exstrely modable... poeple have even found out how to script new wepons (the devs said would not be possible pre lanuch). I think you should have another look at it, steam wrokshop is crap... like EXSTREMLY crap... The devs made it easy to publish to it, but that dose not mean mods are DRMed, in fact in the editor you can export the project anywhere you want as a zip file. The publish localy option just is nice enough to throw it in the right folder to beable to play right away.

I started my thread for this missing this one all together, stupid of me. I hope the game gets added, im already makeing mods on the workshop. Currently its being a bit buggy though... an alternative would be nice,

Hi, i was told here would be the likely place to post or ask this. Recently Shadowrun Returns has come out and it's a highly modable game. I think it would make a great addition to the nexus network, and give the game some great exposure. Currently it has steam workshop integration, but not everything is suitable for it. I think this game needs to be added. Is it possible?

Exactly, Curse is no different then a torrent site that that sells you ratio packages under the excuse 'it costs a fortune to run out servers for you, buy more ratio to DL more/faster). -

I plan to alter the voices on my end to sound robotic, i only need normal human voices to begin with. Lol and yes it can be embarrassing, but someone has to do it. -
The animations are still in game, i've seen them while browsing. As for the lighting, well i don't think the Lucky 38 was ever darkly light with red ;p Id have expected a bright clean festive atmosphere myself, for the past.

I'm beginning now, and i'm sure I'll need the voice actors before then, but I'll keep you in mind. Thanks for the offer, i'd first need to hear a sound clip to know if you would suit the mod or not. I'll provide one of my own shortly but need to get a proper mic my current one's quality isn't the best for clear voice recording. -
Hello, i'm seeking voice actors for my newest mod that involves a lot of flavour dialogue and a few quests. I'm seeking a male and a female voice actor, if your interested please upload a voice sample to Nexus and leave a link to its download for review. If you need some lines to work from below are a few likely to be added to the mod. "Hello, is someone there? I'm sorry my optical sensors appear to be broken." I want to add a readout/static display of data to the plains hud when outside of pipboy. Workings in both first and 3ed person view. Is it possible? And if so where should i start to learn about it?

I want to make a global variable for my next mod, but i can see no way of making one in the global tab of the index. Is there some other method you must do to make one? Or are global's hardcoded and its not possible to make more? Never mind, i was figured it out.

LOL genius. that's perfect. i make the item an activator with a take command. The activator adds the item to your inventory then makes itself hidden/disabled till something else enables it. The activator is never taken, it only looks like you picked up a normal item... -
Check if an AI Package is Complete

If they just wonder around maybe you have another package set, or the ai package isnt set to must complete. among other flags. If the NPC only has 2 packages, and both are set to must complete. Their should be no wandering around. Sounds like theirs a 3ed or more package letting them sandbox and ignore their other packages. -
Is it possible to have say a scrap metal ref on a shelf or table. And have it respawn regularly? Say the player takes it and leaves the cell, comes back in maybe a day and have a new scrap metal waiting? How would it be done if it is possible? This is not meant to respawn areas, just specific pre defined items.

Check if an AI Package is Complete

Is it even necessary to see if the package has been completed? I think the NPC would be smart enough to travel there on its own. If it has to guard someplace, when its time to guard the npc will automatically move there (i assume) you wont need to tell him to go with a package in between. -

Maybe not a clean solution... but add an object script to it. On pickup, or acquire, add an ai package. The ai package set to must run, etc. set for whatever time-limit, like an hour or 10mins. And force them to consume a specified item from their inventory. -
a lot of poeple are, i've yet to see anyone dicover the reason yet, or share it if they had.

Its not done by switching sells. its done by enabling hidden objects. objects disabled on s5tart, but enabled on condition met. Their all already in the cell. you jsut cant see them till the script lets you.

I don't have the answer as i havn't looked at it. But maybe take a close look at the lucky38 player suite and how it works when you buy upgrades from the terminal.
