A wise friend a long time ago gave me some words of wisdom which I believe to be true to this very day: "To a true gamer, graphics are the last thing you'd see."

How much would you pay to have skyrim right now?
ambalamps replied to jorro0121's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
For a complete version that we would get at the stores in three months right now? I would run up to the clerk with game in hand and say: http://arch.413chan.net/shut_up_amd_money_take_my-(n1300896078157).jpg -
I'm still trying to comprehend this statement, all I'm getting from this is Call of Duty and Todd Howard. @thread My hopes were fulfilled at the mention of Dual wielding swords and better third person animations and finishing moves.

Can't tell if trolling...or just really stupid.

I really don't give a damn about the leg. I just want my team of Me, random imperial, random dark elf, and the Nord with the epic beard.

What is Your dovakiin's Background
ambalamps replied to TheMysteriousTraveler's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
My character decided to have himself die then haunt his friends as a ghost for teh lulz and Trolling for the rest of eternity. -
I run oblivion with no problems at all, even with mods, it's always been in the default place and all mods i installed are working perfectly.

I will go for a twin blade, light armored (or just plain clothes) Khajiit. I've always loved dual-wielding. Also, I will have cm partners that is a Nord, Imperial, and Dunmer. Although they said that there will be new races, so this is subject to change. I always loved CM partners as I am the up front, speedy, fast striking character; one partner is a strong, defense-heavy tank; another is an archer; and the last one is a mage. Although with the skill specialization, I might need to add another to my party to be my white mage. I'll probably get a high-elf for that job. I'll always have a team with me, so I don't face the dangers of Skyrim alone. My team setup is usually like this, except with the abscence of the lancer guy and the gladiator guy: http://www.ps3attitude.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/FFXIV-Battle-Range-e1268672610482.png

How about, you could be walking or riding along the road, and someone is crying over a dead body. After like 5 seconds of crying, they plunge a sword into themselves, commiting suicide. Someone could be mugging another person and you could help the victim (or the mugger). You could be somewhere, and as you walk along, two guys can ride by you, fighting each other in mounted combat.

I Will Be Going To Bethesda Studios To Meet The Developers
ambalamps replied to stealtrecon's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I would like to see random encounters. Like for example, you could be walking in the wilderness, then an explorer could come up to you and ask for help. Do his little task and he rewards you with something, like gold. They could have unique encounters where you come across something strange, like a cannibalistic tribe. Better character relationships, have like a best friend or wife or husband. -
Well, I might as well get back into the Elder Scrolls as when Skyrim releases, I will probably go missing from the outside world for about 3 months.

Well, I just came across a mod that will likely be in your interest. I haven't played it yet myself, however I am downloading it now. It's called "The Forgotten Realm" "Somewhere deep in the forests of Blackwood, there once stood a great castle. But then something happened. The crops began to die, and soon thereafter, the animals died too. Servants started to report strange noises and twinkling lights in the dungeons beneath the castle. Shortly afterward, the place was abandoned and fell into decay. Blackwood Forest consumed the castle. Centuries later, not knowing about the circumstances of the castle's fall to ruin, a rich lord from Leyawiin, named Aryon, decided to build himself an estate in the forest. Having an interest in ancient things, this lord thought the site of the ruined castle was a perfect location to allowing him to investigate the ruins. One year later, the lord did not show up at the annual county meeting. A month later, an Imperial patrol was sent to investigate. It disappeared. Nobody knew what had happened. Years passed with no word of either the soldiers or the lord. Years became decades. Ultimately, it was all forgotten about, until now!" After speaking with a Dark Elf of the Great House Indoril outside the Leyawiin North East Gate, you are sent on a quest to investigate the circumstances behind a certain nobleman's disappearance. Venturing far into Blackwood Forest, you are thrown into something much bigger than you could ever imagine. Explore ancient castle ruins, make your way through natural caverns, and break into a lost Ayleid city, sealed off from the rest of the world. The Forgotten Realm offers any Oblivion player an epic adventure which of course has an epic reward at the end. The mod will allow the player to enter a huge underground dungeon which ultimately leads him or her to something very rare: The Forgotten Realm! Apparently, it adds the following: * 50 detailed cells * 3 New worldspaces * Several boss-fights * A secret cult and then something worse... * A pretty extensive questline * A companion * Lots of surprises, traps, epic moments and stuff Another great mod, is the DMC Animation replacer if you haven't gotten that yet. Sick and tired of just standing there and slashing over and over again? The DMC Animation Replacer makes the fights be more epic in my opinion, especially when you do a front flip, then slashing downward. Also, another great mod has nothing to do with action, but it adds probably the best companion in all of the TESNexus. Vilja is an awesome companion as it is fuly voiced with a questline to boot and she even notices the world of Oblivion. So when you are walking, you might hear her say something like "Look, a butterfly!" She is very talkative, but if you don't like that, you can tell her to shut up. She'll even recognize different companions from other mods. (Not every companion, just some.)

I would like to see more choices offered throughout the game. For example in the main quest, when you talk to Martin, no matter what you say, he'll accompany you. In TESV, I would like to see something that anything you say will affect the storyline. I would like to see multiple endings. Like fallout has, you can either die, join the bad guys, be neutral, etc. I would like to see something like that. Better-looking creatures. Look at zombies and creatures in oblivion. Then look at zombies and creatures in Red Dead Redemption. You'll get my point. Collateral damage is something that would be great. Like should you slash a wall, let there be slash marks left behind. Or if you cut a support beam to a building, watch it collapse. More guilds to join. and more guild related quests even after you reach the top. Bounty hunting. Have the guards post people with bounties and go hunt them for a reward. Lasso. They need one for capturing people should they refuse to go peacefully. Executions. Have someone on a guillotine if they have a huge bounty for serious crimes like mass-murder. Getting drunk. Stumbling around like a drunk would be hilarious. Random events like guards chasing a criminal or someone coming up to you and asking for help. Sailable ships. Bait for luring animals. Better arena. Player talking. Have the player talk to others without being silent. Like if someone walks by and says hi, have the player say hello right back to them. Better damage. In games like red dead redemption, if you get shot or slashed, it shows on your character. It should show on your character. You should also get like a penalty for having like a damaged leg or arm. Fighting on horseback. Need I say more? Different fighting styles. Like if someone is really good with blades, they'll fight like dante from devil may cry. If they never held a weapon before, they'll be recklessly swinging. Using your staff like a melee weapon. Stealth kills like in tenchu. Need I say more? Better looking cities.

Here's what I did. You'll need to use console commands. If you don't know how, press the ~ key. After entering the deadlands, I used the console command tcl to turn the collision off. I then ran to one of the doors that leads inside the tower. I was approached by a dremora and after talking to kear, I was escorted to a maze area. Wait until you are in the maze. If collision was turned back on, turn it off. Walk or run through the maze unitil you are approached by a dremora called Epzaos. Follow him and you can go from there.

I am having the same problem, so ima try that and see what happens.
