The guide from Bethesda for the GECK is a bit specific, but you can certainly apply the method of defining a patrol pattern. Other than that the only advice I can offer is just experiment with it, since thats all I ever end up doing. :P

Just out of curiosity, but why do you need to be prone to shoot a rifle? It works just fine for me when I am crouching, and I snipe every hostile NPC I can.

The Henry repeat looks awfully similar to the cowboy repeater, just saying.

Pretty sure that tenpenny tower cannot be ported from Fallout 3 to New vegas due to legal restrictions imposed by Bethesda Studios and others regarding piracy.

Like Park77 said, I play hrough a couple times as a male character just because it so much easier to become immersed in the story line and world. But if I am playing more casually I definetly fo with a female character. -

Most mods should have either installation instructions in the description or a readme file, but heres how to install most mods: Download the compressed file onto your computer Uncompress that file Move any files in the uncompressed folder to the data folder of New Vegas default directory path for 32 bit machines: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\fallout new vegas\data default directory path for 64 bit machines: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\fallout new vegas\data If there are any folders in the uncompressed folder such as "meshes" or "textures", copy the entire folder into the NV data folder as well Run FalloutNVLauncher.exe default directory path for 32 bit machines: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\fallout new vegas default directory path for 64 bit machines: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\fallout new vegas When the splash screen loads click data files and make sure there is a check mark next to all the items listed, then close that window You are now ready to play and enjoy New Vegas with whatever mods you choose to install.

I believe there are several mods that replace the posters, but I have not seen the original posters uploaded anywhere.

As far as I know showracemenu is only a problem if you switch genders, other than that it should be smooth sailing.

I would love to see this added in in a mod, stupid i can't unequip something as simple as extended mags. also i would like to request it allows unique weapons to be modified and also allow the modifications to be removed like all other moddable weapons.

Really interesting idea, although I'm not sure if you could sell them since all cases have no value unless you buy a box of them from a merchant. Anyways, if I were you I'd start by asking the author of "Better Ammo crafting" if he could extend or update his mod to offer case "shreding" since it allready allows scrap metal to be turned into brass then cases.

Yeah that's really easy to do, but I don't know what the original damage values were. If you have the values then I could easily make the mod for you and post it.

This may be a really stupid suggestion given my lack of modding experience, but why cant someone simply port the model and textures from a game that has gillie suits like Modern Warfare 2 then use GECK to make it an equipable item or whatever?

Have you tried using player.forceav instead of player.setav? In my limited experience with scripting I have found that .setav lasts only while the game is open but will revert back to the "default" values when you leave the game and try to reload from a save. Then again I often have no clue what I am doing and this could have been casued by something else entirely. Anyways, just a thought and best of luck.
