illiad86,thanks for your recommendations :) .I readed that phenoms dont run 1600mhz ram but only 1333mhz.I also readed that some people here on Greece that had phenoms II X2 4.0GHz runed into some problems(crashes etc after 2-3 months) when they where turned into quad core.urbex i dont think i need a 600watt psu(i dont crossfire).i run with a 450watt no-name psu 3-4 years old(LOL) the following pc: Intel Pentium D925 3.0GHz 3gb ram hf5770 2hdds 3-4 fans(CoolerMaster HAF932) Thanks and sorry for my bad english

Hi,i havent log in for a long time because of school etc. So,the problem.My hd5770 lasts very well but my cpu bottlenecks(pentium d 3.0GHz)So i think of buying an amd opteron 2350 or 2354 with a used mobo for socket F(these processors use socket f or am2+ ??).These CPUs run ddr2 memory 667mhz? I am playing metro 2033,crysis,borderlands and alien swarm.With the following system i will be able to max out these games?(without AA) CPU:Amd Opteron 2350/2354(whats the difference? 2350 costs 62 euros and 2354 costs 200 euros.) MOBO:???(suggest me one) RAM:3gb ram 667mhz(upgrade to 6 if motherboard supports it) GPU:HD5770 flex HDD:Seagate Barracuda 500gb SSD:OCZ Vertex 2 Series 50gb PSU:Corsair Builder Series CX500 (500watt) please help!! So i got the hd5770 flex editiion.Its amazing,average 25fps on metro 2033,af16x,very high,dx11,tesselation on,dof off on 1280x1024 My pc bottlenecks my gpu so when i will buy a new pc,it aint bottleneck and i guess i will get 30-35 fps

My problem with the hd4870 was that the fan wasn't working perfectly.70% and the temperatures were 107c while playing crysis! It has a guarantee,why not to return it?I will add some money and get either hd5770 or 5830

I wasn't going to pay in full for the card...only 20 euros for the 5770 or 80 euros for the 5830 because i returned a problem hd4870(sorry for my bad english i dont know how to say it) On my country the most expensive hd5770 is 174 euros...and the 5830 only 250 euros...

I dont have that much time!I will buy either 5830 or 5770 tomorrow!I dont want the most up to date stuff,i want something that can max my games on playable fps:)

Dont worry about your performance,this game is optimized for nvidia(i am NOT a fanboy) When i am playing,i dont need something extreme,24-30 fps on my resolution.So i will get the hd5830. I know it an amazing game:)If i was buying the hd5770,i should buy the sapphire vaporx my motherboard is the asrock 775dual-vsta http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=775Dual-vsta this one I will try to get the 5830:) oh and something more.Is a 400watt psu enough or i should buy a new one?

I have Intel Pentium D925 3.0GHz 3gb ram 667mhz 110gb hdd but my motherboard only supports pci-e 1.0,i dont know if its 2.0 and 4x(instead of 16x) I will buy new pc on December.I was thinkig of buying a hd5770 and a 500gb hdd.I have the full metro 2033 but i play it on my 9500gt only on 1280x720 with everything on low,not even physX. You think i should buy instead of 5770 a gtx460 768mb or a hd5830?I will use the card that i will get on my new pc The full game is scary,but if you watch videos of it when you buy it you aint gonna scare. What catalyst did you used?

I aint gonna pay the money for the card that i am going to choose...I am from greece so stuff here is more expensive...I returned to a shop that i bought a hd4870 wich had a problem on the fan,107c on 70% fan. I will change it so for hd5770 i will only pay 21 euros...heheheh:) for 5830 80 euros.now i have a very very very bad 9500gt:(.Pleease post your results!

I was thinking of buying a hd5770.Is that card enough to max out metro 2033 on 1280*1024 or even 1920*1080 with dx11? I dont want more than 24-30 fps. Thank you in advance(sorry for my bad english)

So i decided to upgrade my computer. Intel Pentium D925 3.0GHz upgrade to core 2 duo e6700 3.2GHz and a coolermaster v8 nvidia 9500gt (i am using this because i dont have a good psu) upgrade to hd3870x2 or hd4870 3gb ram i need just a cooler 400watt psu i think of buying a 600watt premier psu. Will that specs be enough for 1-2 years to max out games or buy a new computer? My motherboard is a 775DUAL-VSTA i think
