  1. Nope, everything is done in real time (or fast time?). Here's a video, the waiting is demonstrated at 2:30-ish: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnOr8Rgq6ho
  2. I loved the mod 'More Immersive Waiting' from Oblivion, and would love to have it recreated or somehow ported to skyrim. The original mod added a Stool of Waiting that you could sit on and time would pass by hours at a time in just a few seconds. NPC's still went about their schedules at an advanced rate, you could see them speed around past you, you could watch the sun rise/set. It was just a very cool, and unique mod that I would love to see in Skyrim some time. 3. OP, i hate this while playing as a mage, its really annoying not being able to change my right hand spells without freeing it up via a weapon.
  4. Let me give it a go, i think ive figured out how to do it.
  5. You can edit the item with TESsnip, to enable enchanting, and tempering.
  6. Wow, this sounds like an awesome idea, it would be neat to see if this is possible with the CS
  7. Perhaps have an effect similar to ebony mail, except rainbow?
  8. Sorry, im not an artist, so i wont be able to do the retextures, and the main thing im working on for this project is to get all of the unique items/artifacts changed into craftable versions that dont have enchantments.
  9. Hello everyone, I've created this thread to track the progress of my mod, with what items/weapons I've added. This mod adds Unenchanted versions of unique Armors, and Weapons, which are craftable at a forge, the items can then be enchanted. So far I've added Dragon Priest Masks, and the Nightingale Armor. If you have any requests, feel free to ask. Also, it doesnt change the original item(the items you see in the pictures are new, so you can have an unenchanted set of nightingale armor, and have the original set.) Recipes: Dragon Priest Masks - 1 Dragon Scale, and 2 of the ingot that the armor is made out of. Nightingale Armor - 1 Leather (2 for the cuirass), 1 Leather Straps, and 1 Void Salt http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1234
  10. Haha, i love the dragons dialogue, but i agree, its really annoying to use dragonrend, just to have it land somewhere else, and kill the local blacksmith/farmer/whoever while you are a field away, and cant do anything about it.
  11. I just killed him, and now his body lies in my torture room..
  12. If you told us the file you want to find, we would be able to help you.
  13. Thanks a lot for the help, i managed to get the names working, using the FULL record, and the descriptions using DESC record, although, it adds some funny string after the description in game, so ill have to get that sorted out tommorow, thanks again for the help though.
  14. Ive looked at a few, and the FULL record doesnt actually house the name (or if it does, im clueless as to how it does), I dont think its EDID, and i havent checked out SCRI yet. Thanks for the help It appears my descriptions aren't working either After glancing at other files, i would also guess that its FULL = name, and DESC = description but, i dont know how, because they are both 1-2 characters long. Someone more experienced with hexadecimal numbers than I, would be needed to figure this out. The record FULL is generally very small on all of the vanilla files, however, entering a long name appears to work...
  15. Hello, recently, for a mod im working on, i tried duplicating some items, for the purpose of having a unenchanted version of it, for crafting purposes. I managed to create it, and the recipe to craft it, although now i dont know how to change the name, and, unfortunately for me, the name has changed into 1-2 characters, that almost looks like i put some hex code where it shouldnt of been. If anyone has created brand new items with TESsnip, and would be willing to help me out, i would be very grateful. If it matters, im creating unenchanted dragon priest masks, and although the item has been created, and it doesnt have the enchantment, which i got rid of, i cant figure out how to change the name. Sorry the picture doesnt include the item, picture was too big.
  16. To extract meshes and textures from the BSAs, you could use this tool: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=41042 I think that's what you would want to use. They haven't set a release date yet.
  17. Well, i finished the mod. http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1234 Its my first mod, tell me if you have any different ideas for the materials required.
  18. You know what, i think im going to try this out. Well, i made the file, testing to see if it works, then ill upload it.
  19. Ok, i ended up looking through the Voices2 BSA for oblivion and found them under Imperial - male - crime_greeting Whoops, wrote down the file location wrong
  20. I found that video to be absolutely hilarious. Quick question though, for those of us wanting to do this ourselves, what were the guard's voice files you used/where did you find them?
  21. Like speed up, as in, the day goes by faster? If so, change the timescale by entering this command in console: set timescale to ____ with a number higher than 30, with 30 being the default. Arwen made a handy guide here: Changing Timescale
