  1. As has been said already, and will probably be said many more times: much of Enai's work is essential for my enjoyment of Skyrim. Whenever someone asks me about modding Skyrim, the short answer is always, "get everything by EnaiSiaion." Here is to hoping that Bethesda just puts him in charge of ES6's mechanical details.
  2. Hello all you beautiful modders out there. (Please excuse my obvious kiss-assery.) I am really digging W3, but the minimap is a constant distraction. I end up looking at it far more than I look at the rather beautiful game world in front of me. I tried turning it off for a while, but it becomes rather difficult to know where it is your are going. So I was thinking of a compromise. I think if the mini map could be replaced with a compass like Skyrim's, it would really help for the enjoyment of this game. Something that shows the direction of your current objective, the custom markers, and perhaps all the undiscovered points on the world map if you are within a certain range of them. I have a feeling that this would be a very popular mod, and something I know I personally would be interested in supporting. Thanks for taking the time to read!
  3. Is there a way, that anyone knows of, to alter the conditions needed to gain certain skill xp? Particularly, I'm looking to make physical damage contribute to light and heavy armor skill xp. Quite a bit of digging through the CK hasn't found me anything. Any thoughts or knowledge is appreciated.
  4. Just a request for a mod, or for someone to point me in the right direction. Doesn't quite make sense that the only source of armor skill (heavy and light) comes from taking physical damage. Being able to move well in a suit of armor seems just as "skillful" as knowing how to get hit in it. So I was wondering if there was a mod that allowed armor skill gain from dealing damage or from successfully sneaking. Not a lot of skill gain, but it would help out archer/assassin archetype characters a lot since they aren't getting hit on too much, but can still greatly benefit from armor skill when needed. Thanks in advance.
  5. I've been tinkering around with some of the restoration spells, and I have manged to create a projectile healing spell. (Aimed) Looks cool and everything, and I can use it on my follower to heal her from a distance, but I was wondering if there was any way to enable my follower to use it on me. I forced her to learn the spell through the console, but after doing some searching around it doesn't look like there is any AI in place to prompt a follower to heal the player. So my question is this, is there any mod software out there that adds this component to the follower AI?
  6. I enjoy using the resto school, but it always seems like a pain to swap out my offensive abilities to heal for 2 seconds then go back to fighting. Some reactive restoration spells might be nice. Here are my ideas. 1. A Restoration Armor that heals you for x amount over an extended period of time when you take damage. Say an armor that last for three to five minutes and heals the caster for x points of damage over the next 20-30 seconds. Non-stacking - only one regen buff on you even if you are taking repeated hits of damage. 2. A targeted "mark" spell that causes attackers to be healed when they inflict damage on the marked target. To balance this between fast attacking dual wielders and slower 2h or spells, make the healing a static amount over 2-3 seconds. Buff doesn't stack. An alternate of this spell might cause the marked target to cause a "healing explosion" when they die - good for healing the melee troop or for keeping melee focused followers alive. Just some thoughts and spells that I have't seen modded in yet. Thanks for reading.
