Okay, I've tried to use NVEdit and the GECK to get the items I want out of the old FO3 mod and into my game. Apparently I've made an excellent little mod that allows me to crash the game on start-up every time I use it. If anyone's interested in this amazing game-killing mod, please send me a PM. I'll be more than happy to pass it on. It's more handy than you might think. No, really... :wallbash: Sarcasm aside, I really suck at this. Any advice (aside from, "give it up, dude, you fail") would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I can tell, it should be almost the same process as the one used in this mod (click here). The only difference would be using a male base skin instead of a female. Just copy n' paste the body you want to use into the new custom race folder. As far as the .dds file goes, I've tried using several different programs to convert them, but the easiest I've found by far is Paint.net (click here). It has a built-in .dds reader, and can easily convert them into a file type you can modify in gimp. Hope this helps!

Nadimos: I really appreciate you taking the time to post a response and telling me what I can do to port the mod for personal use. I am a complete noob with the GECK, though. I did manage to make a new race so I could get a tattoo mod working. That's as far as my experience goes. And that was only because the author wrote an idiot-proof guide that was very easy to follow. I kind of follow what you're saying here. I just don't know how to get the items I want out of the old mod, into a container, and into NV somewhere. I apologize for my noobishness. I'm trying to teach myself, but it's very much trial-and-error. Mostly error.

I would take on a horde of rabid deathclaws for some jewelry for my character. Sadly, I am about as ignorant at modding and porting as one can be. Would one of you wonderful folk be so kind as to consider making some earrings, necklaces, noserings, etc for FO: NV?
