  1. I know those ones :) I mean the ones the game defaults to when you start a new game. Like if you have a nude texture mod on "game_main\model\pl\f\f_base\f000" and you start a new game, the modded texture disapears and is replaced with the default texture. I just found those on nativePC\rom\Title.arc
  2. Wait, so it recognizes the controller but the interface still shows up as keyboard keys? Can you link or post here what are the controller buttons equivalent in the keayboard?
  3. Hey guys, so I was wondering if anyone managed to find the defaut player textures that the game revert to once you start a new game. I mean, it must be stored in some other .arc file and the game resets to it if you start a new game or change to hard mode. I'm trying to find a way to not have to edit the game_main file all the time and increase mod compatibility, I figured out that you can edit the .mrl files and have them import textures from any directory in your PC, but still, one would need to edit the game_main file. So I believe the best way would be to locate the original texture files, I've been upacking a lot of .arc files with no luck so far... they have to be stored somewhere else right? I mean, how would the game reset to default textures after those got edited?.
  4. Hey, I'm pretty new with fallout/skyrim modding also but this tutorial allowed me to get custom models working in-game. Are you using the blender niftools plugin to export in .nif? After exporting your model in .nif open it in Nifskope and edit like in the tutorial. It should work in the GECK after that.
  5. Hey guys, so I've been trying to do a repaint of the 10mm Pistol diffuse but there seems to be another map that generates this weapon paint wear effect and overrides the diffuse. http://i.imgur.com/FNMn6pA.jpg I also tried to paint over the Heavy Combat Armor diffuse map, but this weird paint wear/rust effect also overrides its diffuse color. Anyone knows a way to get around that?
