  2. Hi guys, I've been doing a little bit of searching but haven't really found the information I'm looking for... Essentially what I'm trying to do is edit a value in a script from a mod I downloaded for personal perference (me only), unfortunately when I double click on the script it says it can't be editted/opened from the script folder. Also when hovering over it, it says it was added/editted locally. I have a sneaking feeling that this means that the scripts for the mod were compiled into the .esm file meaning I cannot edit them. But I thought I would give it a shot by asking... All I really want to do is change a value so that instead of an effect being 2 days, it will be like a week in game or something. Any advice is welcome

  4. No, I don't think you understand. I'm not looking for the zero suit mod. I'm looking for the Varia Suit/Phazon suit mod, it was up a few days ago but it's disappeared. This isn't the mod I'm looking for.
  5. If you're running the steam version part of the problem could be from the new patch they added a little while ago. I've heard it doesn't play well with some mods.
  6. A few days ago I saw an awesome mod that had the amazingly beautiful armors from Metroid. I didn't have time to download it though and two days later when I went to check it, it wasn't there... what happened to it?   7. Alright, so I've been working on adding content to a pre-existing mod that I wanted to make my own changes to. The interiors have been shaping together really well. However when I create an exterior door to my interior and save it. Upon reloading my mod into the GECK everything worked fine until I moved to the area where I created the doors in the Wasteland, when I get to these areas the GECK just crashes for no apparent reason. I also had a similar problem a few days ago where whenever I fast traveled in the game, the game would crash. So I reverted to an earlier backup version of the mod and everything worked. Any help would be immensely appreciated. EDIT: Not sure what I did, this is probably my 10th or 12th time trying to get things to work in the GECK off and on over the past week and a half and it seems to be working perfectly now.
  8. Hey guys, There's two player home mods that I really like the "Yangtze Bunker" and "Underground Hideout New Vegas." The other day I thought that rather than using two player homes maybe I could mix and match them together to make my own customized version. I'm having difficulties though. Basically here's the steps I'm taking 1. Load up the GECK 2. Data> Yang.esp + Underground.esp + Fallout.esm 3. I'm opening the cell for the Yangtze Armory and displaying it in the render window. 4. I throw a door in and put it on a wall. 5. I connect the door to the Underground Bunker's Armory copy cell so I can teleport from the Yangtze armory to the Underground Bunker armory. 6. Save So up to this point everything seems to work. However when I load up the game the door is there and it connects to the Underground Bunker room. But a lot of things in the room are missing. The main thing I noticed was the weapons wall and sorting were missing. A lot of the other boxes and such were missing too. I tried loading this .esp back up in the GECK but it crashes every time. So I have to go and replace it with my backup yangtze.esp copy and start over. Any light on the situation would be appreciated.   9. I tried this in grand hopes and it didn't seem to work for my purposes. I tried loading the new .esp I made into the GECK but everytime I tried it ended up crashing.
  10. Thanks for the reply and sorry I wasn't specific enough. I knew two mods could be opened. However, what I'm trying to do is steal the room from one mod place a new door in a second mod connecting to this room. When I do connect to this room in the other mod it works however, elements from it are missing which is why I assume I need to merge the .esp's in order to make it work. I'll explain in more detail with pictures and such tomorrow. I'm tired xD
  11. I'm having the same problem. I wanted to merge a room from a different mod into another mod but apparently the GECK can't handle two mods at the sametime so I need to merge the mods then bring them into the GECK. Anyways, I know there's a NV Edit but it would be nice if someone could post a tutorial for it still.
