I've been having problems getting GECK to load data aswell. I updated to 1.3, but still not working for me. I saw someone saying to get NVSE Beta 10, but only beta 9 is available to download from http://nvse.silverlock.org/ so I'm very confused.

Alright I found the problem. It was a file from a mod in the menu folder that changed the stats_menu that was causing the game to crash. It was from AsukaStats, the pipware version that was supposidly ment to make it work with Readius, but I guess its broken. Gah I knew it would be something stupidly simple. All that uninstalling, redownloading and lots of messing around for nothing. D:

I uninstalled it through steam since thats the only way it would let me. Trying again, this time I'm deleting all the leftover files from the games installation and documents directories (just keeping save files) and see if that works. Not sure what CTD actually means. When I press Play the game starts up with that wall of text screen. But it crashes just before the Obsidian logo appears. I'll see if it runs after I get it reinstalled again.

I've clocked over 191 hours in Fallout New Vegas, and just today it suddenly stopped working. It was running fine this morning, but now as soon as I click "Play" from the launcher it doesnt even make it to the title screen before crashing. It started when I decided to try the Pipboy Readius mod. After adding NVSE and Readius files the game started crashing every time I tried to start it up. Tried removing the added NVSE and Readius, still crashes. Uninstalled and redownloaded game, still crashes. Tried renaming "ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa" to "Fallout - ArchiveInvalidation.bsa" and editing fallout_default.ini etc with changed names. Still crashes. Used "verify integrity of game cashe..." through steam library, still crashes. One thing of note is that everytime I try the "verify integrity of game cashe", it always finds 1 file and updates. But the game still crashes. Even running the verification twice or more in a row it will always find 1 file problem, but it doesnt seem to be fixing properly. I'm at my wits end, nothing is working. I dont understand whats happened, no fixes I know off are working at all.

The main reason I didnt want to have to destroy the BoS was because I felt bad for Veronica. She has been my main companion throughout the game and thought she was a nice character. I was scared she would leave me the moment I did it, though thankfully she didnt. Though I'm sure she would have had she known about it (I went as far as leaving her at the Lucky 38 while doing it). Seeing her going back and finding the BoS bunker destroyed during the ending was so sad, I felt like I had totally betrayed her. :(

Yes I have been using that one, but the problem is that its on the right eye, which just seems rather silly when you go to aim your gun.

I've also been hoping someone would have converted those eyepatches by now, or at least made new left eyepatches for NV. I'm using the right eyepatch that someone made a mod for a while back, but I really really want it on the left eye. I'd have converted that FO3 mod for peronnal use if I could, but all guides on how to do so seem to require you owning the PC ver of FO3. I only had the 360 version. :(
