I had a problem last night and don't know if it was from UFO, but I think so. I had 3 followers when I was arrested and sent to the Silver Mine plot. The followers did not come with me to jail, and when "spoilers" We broke out of the mine, I thought they were all there waiting for me, but after the battle in Markarth, 2 of them were suddenly dead, leaving only my newest follower. I'm not sure how they died. Is there a quick key command to resurrect them?

Hi GeorgieGrill! Thanks for the detailed info! Here's a little feedback: My processor is not quad-core as recommended, but above minimum specs. My ram is almost the recommended 4gig. 1. I currently have the latest NVidia driver. I'll try your EVGA site and try that one instead. 2. Disabling the downloadable hi-res textures helped my performance too. I tried the WATER, Flora and a few other improvement mods, but suspected they were slowing things down, so disabled them. Maybe I'll give them another chance. Some people swear by STEP, although I was pretty well set up before I saw it, and so I don't use it. I do know it has it's own website/forum, so it seems well supported. If given the option with these or any other mod, I choose medium texture if possible, or the lower of two options. I also use a lot of mods that improve textures of roads, rocks, clothing/armor/ appearance and weapons. There are so many out there I 'm sure it's just a matter of preference. 3. I read and used the GeForce Tweak Guide already. I'll try "RookieNoob's tweak guide" too. 4, 5, 6, etc. I'll check out those suggestions too! Thanks Again!.

I've only got 512 in my graphics card, unfortunately. I've finally gotten the game running pretty well though, after lots of tweaking.

I'm enjoying my first playthrough of Skyrim so far, and would like to add some more mods. BUT, I've got a problem. My GeForce 9800GT card is kinda old and does not do well with high res textures or other tweaks. So, do you guys have any SUGGESTIONS for fun mods that I would enjoy that would not slow down my framerate or otherwise unbalance my first play through? Which are your FAVORITE mods, besides your own?

NVidia GeForce 9800GT Win7 64 Bit 1680 x 1050 resolution. I've been trying to get Skyrim to run more smoothly. When I ran it out of the box, the game suggested medium settings, unfortunately there was a horribly unplayable framerate. I updated my drivers, and looked all over the nvidia and skyrim websites for further advice, tweaking all sorts of values.. I could play moderately well with nearly every setting set to low or "performance", but it was still kinda laggy, especially when entering new areas. I play lots of other games very smoothly on this computer: Arkham City, Assassins Creed series, ME3, etc. Any advice on settings that might make a big difference to get this working better? Lower Resolution? Any special advice in Win 7? Any mods that might help? (I was using the FXAA emulater thing for example) What about any suggested mods that might be fun but NOT slow it down any more? THANKS!
