I have the same "link points to wrong block type" warning when saving NOT modified FNV nif's since i changed my version number from 20.0.0.5 to 20.2.0.7 ...
I suspect the culprit is in the .XML (my Skyrim meshes don't give me this warning only the Fallout ones...)
I'm using nifskope-1.1.0-rc1-i686-w32 (rc4 does work for me)

I have recently turn my attention to DAO and I'm looking to join a team of other creators and moders ,on dao project
my availability is 8 to 12hrs a day (ya,i do that 24/7) ,
I specialize in female organic modeling (eg.body ,clothes ,hair ,facial structures ,weapons ,etc.) and i have always done my own rigging (which is the most tedious and boring part of meshing),LOL
anyway ,,i should mention that i have 0 experience with 'DAO modeling and rigging' and the use of the 'Toolset' but I'm fast learner and eager to get started ,,,
Perhaps if your team is full or my style isn't suited ,we can still keep in touch and exchange knowledge and ideas .

Thanks 'Kalizar' !Welcome to the Nexus. Here's the Fallout 3 modding tool, no idea about DA:O though... If you ever want to mod TES IV: Oblivion, just go to cs.bethsoft.com/constwiki, for some information for the GECK (Fallout 3 modding tool), just go to geck.bethsoft.com.

a friend of mine "Akavir.ru/" is creator for Oblivion ,i think the game is too old ,,,
on the other hand DAO remands me of "Dungeon Siege" ,an old favorite of mine,lol

In my defense ,all i can say is that (I'm new Here) but also to the world of Oblivion and DAO ,
for your question about ,if i make MODS ,i don't make mods ,but i intend to start making mesh for DAO and possibly Fallout3 ,the Sims2 engine (game) is getting very old for me (after meshing sims for 5 years ,i think it time for me to move on to newer game (Sims3 is totally Un-Meshable and as no future for a mesher),,,so here i am
for idea of what i can do with a mesh ...just Google my name ! About 1,490 results

<< Boodrl >>"PeggyZone" is cause of a huge amount of controversy on the Sims scene (because she sells her all the mesh on her site sort of like "TSR" The Sims Resource...and "rosesims" which goes against Electronic Arts ownership of the franchise and the .package files format .
I wont touch anything from these sites...
Did all three mesh return "Too many Pi" error ?? ,i wasn't aware of Peggy locking her mesh !
My apology ,I guess i cant be much help here after all. I suggest you stick to free creators or find more simple mesh to begin experimenting with .

All my hair mesh at (insimenator.org PG13) will be ported to DOA before i make new ones ,so keep an eye out for them...
In response to your first post ~ "I hope we have help for the community" ~ I will be happy help in whatever concerns sims mesh extract and export ,but i have yet to learn the tools of DAO yet
Not to sound like an ass,I will unlock the mesh for you if you can provide me with the mesh name and download link ,as long as this doesn't go against the creators wishes ,in some case depending on the mesh complexity and the technique used to imported into sims,it is possible that the "Pi error was not intentional ...(you don't need to hunt for the creator's TOU,i know them all by heart ),i will way for your reply !I've tried importing the files into MS3D but an error comes up.ERR: Too many P1 sections for this implementation.What does this mean and is there a way to fix it?

Thats how i lock my mesh,,,bare in mind that i am still active in the sims community and explaining how to unlock this ,would be considered an act of betrayal on my part.
I suggest you try another mesh !

Thanks for the tip 'chibievil' ! ya,I use 3dMax2010 *quickly downloading*to mesh dragonage Booby, u will need a importer and exporter for the models, and it really depends on the program u use 3ds max here is plugin : 3ds max plugin

- First :you'll have to open the '?mesh?'.package with "SimPe" ,and extract the gmdc aka 'Geometry Data Container ' as a .5gd
-Second :with the proper plug-ins ((msS2MImp.dll) by WesW its call "UniMeshImporterV4.09A" available at MTS2) placed into your plugin folder of MS3D ,,,
Third :you can now export as an .obj usable by almost all 3d programs ...
ALL these plug-ins are available at ModTheSims aka MTS2
- on a side note ;Blender as a plugin for Sims2 as well,save you all these steps *assuming you like working with Blender*
regardless of the program used ,you will have to have knowledge of "Character Rigging" because all vertices will have to be reassign properly,i can tell you from experience that ('Bones weigh assignment' for character animation is the most complex part of meshing ,although hair are lest animated and a bit easier then clothing.
And thanks "Eshme" for those plug-ins I have yet to try :thumbsup:

I'm new to the Nexus,I stumble upon this Site while looking for plug-ins and such ,and i figure it would be a good place to start ...
Just looking for new games to create for ,i think Dragon age and Fallout have good potential...
I'm well known by the Sims2 community as "Bobby TH." for my sexy mesh ,hair ,weapons and vehicles ( Bobby T.H. )
anyway,i hope i can do something similar for for the aforementioned game here ...

I suggest you start by asking permission to those creators ,before thinking of converting their work,,,
I can also tell you that you cannot do strait port of those mesh without knowledge of polygonal modeling and character rigging .
because the bone structure will differ from one game to another ,the joints will have different location ,and different names and also the scaling ,the seams at the head (in case of hair),,,in other words ,Dragon age would not understand those coordinate

I'm an Elite mesher for the sims2 ,(my creation are hosted at Bobby's Bordello @ InsimAduld.org I also made a few hair mesh for the sims2 at bobby T.H.'s Creation
I'm looking to start meshing for other games like Dragon age ,Fallout3 and Mass Effect2 (meshing for sims more then 5 years can get boring,lol)
If Any of You could point me toward the proper plugin's and utilities necessary to bring life into Dragon age ,it would me much appreciated !
PS: Lot of creators for Sims have open policy regarding their creation ,they simply ask that you give them credit for the original and perhaps add a link to your upload ,a good place to start would be "Nouk" ,she as created dozen's of low poly hair mesh ,an is regarded as the best hair creator (in sims world).

I have the same problem (description: My Character is being puss-back a step every 3 step or so, while walking or running.),
I suspect that a script conflict has embedded itself into my save ,it persist even after deactivating ALL mods ...
(The issue isn't hardware related because I am running on 8 treads @4GHz + 16GB DDR3@1600 with 2x GTX 580 in SLI on a Velocirator Raid0...)
Also since the new SKSE (skse 1.06.06 to 1.06.09),some other weird things have been popping up ... hopefully someone will pinpoint the cause *wishful thinking*

EDIT:
I FOUND A SOLUTION ! it works for me at least ...
1st) you need the latest skse installed (version 1.06.09)
2th) use the console and type "ClearInvalidRegistrations" without the quote, this will removes invalid and orphans scripts.
