  1. For mods like True Shadows, the shadow distance variable does nothing to affect how far the newly cast shadows are rendered, it only effects shadows cast in the vanilla game. Is there any way to control the distance of these modded shadows?
  2. If I rename my textures folder, the stuttering is completely gone. This is why I'm sure it's related to texture loading. I'm not interested in running the game with stock textures, however, so I am interested in knowing if anyone has had this issue with modded textures that has managed to resolve it. It's not a VRAM issue, as my VRAM doesn't exceed more than 4ish GB, out of 8 GB available.
  3. System: GTX 1070 @ 2088 MHz 6600k @ 4.7 GHz 850 Evo (Fallout 4 installed here) 16 GB DDR4 2666 MHz RAM 2560x1440 Resolution I have many texture mods, and with or without the ENB stuttering 'fix', I experience brief (1 second or so) pauses when the game is (I assume) loading in new textures while outdoors. These can happen fairly frequently and are very jarring. I am running at max settings, with shadowboost and the ultra godrays performance fix mod, averaging around 60 FPS with no drops below the high 40s. I've tried windowed, borderless windowed, and fullscreen. I don't know if the game experiences the stutters with stock textures, as I haven't tested the stock game on my new system, but I am not interested in using the stock textures.
  4. I'm going to have the game locked at 60 fps, although my monitor has a higher refresh rate. Do you have any idea what your VRAM usage is? I'm running many more texture mods and I'm using a higher resolution, but it should at least be helpful as a reference
  5. Should I have any trouble running exclusively 4k textures with an overclocked GTX 1080? I will be playing at 2560x1440, with 60+ texture mods (mostly containing 4k textures), totaling around 16 GB of disk space. The GTX 1080 has 8 GB of VRAM. I am also going to be running the game on an SSD and have 16 GB of DDR4 2666 MHz, if that matters. Edit: Just checked my textures folder, it's actually at 18.3 GB
