  1. I smell a ban coming ... Also I have no idea what do you want from us , the modders. If you have problems with the pirated Skyrim go to the pirate who hacked this game for your or to yourself who downloads crap.
  2. Sometimes it happens when you load new mods. Entering an interior cell my help.
  3. 1. Get the Creation Kit. 2. Find some tutorials about it. Bethesda has some basic tutorials in youtube and there are many more written tutorials. 3. If you have specific questions you can come back and ask.
  4. What does your question has to do with the topic ? Usually you make a seperate topic :) . Alright @ lol I dunno how to do it and I'm not sure it is possible, but I do know that you DO NOT CHANGE THE SKYRIM.ESM unless you know what you are doing. This is the core game and should be left as it is. What you can do is to create an ESP file (Elder Scrolls Plugin) . Those plugins load over skyrim.esm so you don't have to change the original game. Most mods around include an ESP file that activates the changes they made in your game. You can create new ESP by clicking "save" or save into already existing ESPs by selecting them in the load window and pressing "make active". Note that you cannot just press save if you don't have an active plugin, it will create a new one. If you want to save into existing ESPs activate them and press save. @ Anduniel - you don't save, this is the fastest way, best thing for you to do including the fact you only added a character. You can try to move the meshes to their original location . Press "snap to grid" button at your toolbar. This button allows you to move your meshes 64 units to each side instead of 1 (By default). This allows you to connect your meshes perfectly , like a Lego. Hold the object with your left mouse and move it around until you get it back where it was. Hold "z" key to change the height of the object and move it on the Z axis only. If for some reason the objects don't fit together disable "snap to grid" and toy around with it a bit. You can force objects to the ground py pressing "F" key. This will bring your mesh to the first mesh below it, putting them on same height. It is useful to put things on the floor such as furniture.
  5. So use freely and give credit.
  6. Yea for some idiotic reason ... It's not like you make a profit from it and it's a TES game ... Cmon you can take meshes from other games and import them everything's fine but when it comes to Beth games they say no ... It probably goes as "Steal from other gamemakers for us so we won't get sued but don't steal our profit ! " :P .
  7. I never changed the perk tree so my knowladge is limited. Maybe someone else can help you.
  8. Entry points ? you mean doors ? Spawns ? Be more specific ...
  9. If you add a script that spams empty messages on trigger the message won't be visible.
  10. Make a fake door. Take a random door with a mesh and put it somewhere the player can't get to. When you link your autoload door to this one put the door marker where you want your player to teleport to. When he falls down he will be teleported to the door marker but because there is no door visible for him he can't interact with it and teleport himself back into the falling area.
  11. What do you mean by that ? I fear you will need to learn scripting first anyway. Find some papyrus tutorials to understand how scripting works (Personally I dunno any good scripting tutorials - they all show how to do it without the concepts behind scripting which makes you useless against new tasks)
  12. You can select the SKSE in your Nexus mod manager so every time you use it you will launch skyrim via SKSE.
  13. Simple. In the outfit category (which I believe you already found) right click and press "new" . Now find your armor in items -> armor and drag it into the outfit window. Press ok . Now go to your NPC and put default outfit as what you made.
  14. Nop. AS said above it's dependent on real folders, as long as you don't touch those everything should be fine. Just follow the steps above.
  15. In your loading menu select the daedric lord mod. Find the weapons in the Object Browser (the window on your left by default) : Go to items -> weapons and find them. Right click them in the list and press "duplicate" . Do whatever you want with the duplicate and done ! Press save. It may do some issues with scripted weapons and other special stuff but this is it for beginners. Should work in most cases.
  16. Another entry in our blog.
  17. Have you loaded Skyrim.esm and any other plugin you used for her outfit ? This sign means the mesh you gave to her cloths is either broken or null (Means no mesh assigned or no such mesh found) . In other words check your mesh assignment for the cloths . Also all skyrim windows can be resized to anything you want just like any other Windows window, use it.
  18. I'm not sure those two are built to work together. Basically the NPC editor was a tool created before the CK release in order to give a temporary solution to NPC editing. It is not supposed to replace the CK .
  19. I still don't get your question ... As far as I understood it put your mouse on the top blue bar, hold the left mouse and move this window wherever you want.
  20. Which windows ? the outfit ones ? Right on top of your screen. As for the NPC editor I dunno, don't need anything besides the CK.
  21. Uh you are choosing yourself mods or you need modding help ?
  22. In your object browser (The list on your left by default) go to items -> Outfits. Right click, press "create new" , enter a meaningful ID for your outfit list (You won't be able to see it in game but in order to keep yourself and your mod organized and readable make sure you find a good name) . Now go to Items -> armor in your object browser and drag the armor you want to this window. Press ok. Now go to your actors properties (Double click him in the render window (Top right by default) and press "Edit Base" or find him in the actor list and double click). Go to inventory tab. There is a list called "Default outfit". Select the outfit you made there and press ok.
  23. well it's not exactly unique landscapes ...
  24. True as long as you don't reach the ESP limit (there was a limit on Oblivion that I reached , I'm sort of modding addicted :P ) . There is no way you will make any mod fully compatible. The user will have to choose between incompatible mods. I'm not going to split my mod (Legend of Winterhold ) into suppurate esps for the rebuilt town and the college and the questline ... If you want to play my mod with something else that rebuilds winterhold you'll have to choose. You can complete my questline and then deactivate the esp .
  25. For this script it complains that SetObjectiveDisplayed is an illegal statement (though it is). My guess you didn't use the function correctly, but it's only a guess as long as you don't give us a script to look at . It could be nice BTW if you do put this script here.
