I'm searching for anyone who wants to contribute . If you know modelling I prioritise those but if you want I still need concept artists. After all the more hands we have the faster the job will be done. BTW in one of your pictures : Gaddafi = hope ? Weird :P . I know Libya is sort of screwed now and I expect to see there some sort of civil war or at least another tyrant taking over but still… If you wish to help PM me and I'll tell you what's next.

Hey rirror , I've sent you a PM regarding this stuff, looking forward to work with you :).
-
See ? that's a positive attitude :) .
-
Alright thx for the advice :) .
-
Actually why are you that annoyed by walking manikins ? Wouldn't it be cool if real manikins could walk ? :P
-
I'm reviving this thread as I still need help with concept art. It will make the work for our modeller much easier. Thank you in advance :)

Dont think so. If you want some shooter stuff you may want to try Fallout 3 or Fallout NV . Shooters are more luckily to receive shooter stuff .

NPC's will not wander/move unless they have a patrol package?
Iv121 replied to samv96UK's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
When you are done with navmeshing you must know that without packages they still won't move. So basically yes if you won't give it command it won't even randomly move. For random moving use wander, for specific movement use travel. The only case it will move without a specified package is when attacking the player (or other actors) . -
it will wander around. They had to give it travel package to editor location in 0 radius, as I would do. Probably they set it to ignore player hits and his desperate tries to communicate with the manikin . Also they probably added equip script. Actually I'll go to have a look at this script right now :P .

New one, the older one has too much noise on it.

Yes, open up the item you want from the object browser (The list on your left by default) with double clicking. Change the stats you want for this weapon. Now the next step is important - In the top of the menu you will see a line called "EditorID". Put there your own MEANINGFUL ID that you can later easily find (For example I use 1Iv***<name> for all my objects with IV being my initials, *** being my mod initials and 1 is to bring the item to the top of the list). When it asks "create new ? " press yes. If you won't do it you will change the vanilla item you edited which you usually don't want to do. Don't forget to place your item in the world - drag it from the object browser to the render window (top right by default) to place it.

Yes it's on :( . This patch Bethesda f***ed things pretty hard : Item movement screwed, water screwed (I think it was before but whatever) ... What did it actually fix ?
-
After the CK patch I can't seem to see the lights casted by spotlights I place (Those that existed before are visible) . They are also not rendering in game. I had a look at the settings but didn't find anything extraordinary. I set up a big radius (2048) to see the changes yet can't see anything . What should I do ? Edit: I just played with lights a bit more. Turns out everything that casts dynamic shadows (mean everything besides normal omni ) doesn't work. HELP !

You've got quite a weird understanding of playable area my friend :) . Oblivion was larger than Morrowind (and not smaller) while skyrim is the same size just with custom filled content and high mountains which gives you the feeling of a bigger playing area. I didn't find a lot of reward in finishing the Morrowind guild quests. When it's over - it's over . You cant make endless content. The Mystic Elves are a custom race made as a mod for oblivion. You are talking about the Ayleids. Also going offensive on the consoles is a bit out of place. Who knows maybe I have 2 skyrims - PC and Xbox versions :P . People who play skyrim on console can still become fans of TES (Though the experience is worse than on PC
-
Bigger playing area is always nice but requires a lot of work to be done. OFC Bethesda could generate the land like they did with oblivion but the area will be somewhat monotone and boring. As time passes More mods that add lands will appear giving you more space to explore. As for the vanilla titles my exploration prize goes to Morrowind. It's alien landscape and lack of fast travel somewhat encouraged exploration. The powerful artefacts spread around were a good reward for curiosity. Too bad skyrim's artefacts are restricted to different quest and can't be simply found in the wilderness. Though skyrim's land is beautiful and detailed it looks somewhat familiar and doesn't encourage exploration in me as much as Morrowind. BTW was it only me who spent a few good hours cracking the safes in Vivec ? :P .

Able to make changes during skyrim game?
Iv121 replied to CookieSalesman's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I'd say impossible ... If it will allow you to do it you may crash skyrim. It shouldn't do any permanent damage though ... -
As alpha channel is not included you'll have to do the second :( . Even though I'm quite sure you can simply delete it I dunno why it doesn't allow you to.

whats the most retard-proof way to merge armors?
Iv121 replied to papakapp's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
If you know the CK go to item properties. Over there you’ll find a list with possible item slots that this specific item occupies. Deselect everything in one of the items and save. This item can now be equipped with any other item you have. -
1. Why won't you change it's color so it won't be visible ? 2. Yes you should. This ESM keeps all changes bethesda makes to the game world , updates. Basically it won't kill you if you won't use it though ... 3. Go to inventory tab in your character properties (double click it) . in top right corner you'll see a window called "outfit objects" . Drag there all cloth items you want your character to wear. Thanks button to the left :D If you have more questions about CK modding just ask.
-
Well my mod fits your request but its still WIP and probably will be WIP for a while unless our team grows. It's a lot of work especially for the modellers.
-
If you know how to use the CK you can choose those items from the object browser and select "duplicate" . You will still need the meshes and textures for the items present in your skyrim folder. If you do not know how to use the CK this is unfortunately impossible... unless someone is gonna program such as thing which I doubt.
