  1. I was having weird issues with Skyrim, so I uninstalled all mods Skyrim itself from steam, then reloaded Skyrim. When I reloaded Skyrim I moved it to my D:\ drive as that had more space. Then when I started to reload the Mods on NMM they wouldn't connect to Skyrim (they did not modify the game). In particular, FNIS exe was unavailable (even though I downloaded and installed it). So, because I favor a scorched earth policy when I'm frustrated, I fully uninstalled NMM and Skyrim again. But, I do want the mods (I just have to go find them again). My question then is this: does it matter where the mods are stored in order for them to actually modify my Skyrim? When I reinstall NMM should I also install it on D:\? How can I make sure--when I redo all of this--that the mods will actually work with Skyrim? In case you need to know: I have a dual drive system Alienware 5 (286 ssd (C:\) + 1t sata (D:\); I have an Invidia 1080, intel 7 4ghz, 8gb ram Any help here appreciated. Hopefully I'm posting this in the right place.
  2. Thanks Nozzer66 and Project579. Very helpful.
  3. I will soon be getting a new computer with an invidia 1080 graphics set up (founders edition). So I am looking for the best mods that can enhance the visuals of the game (my current graphics card can barely play the game--any enhancement gives it a headache). By enhancing the visuals I am thinking here of: atmospherics lighting body mods--textures for more realistic skin and so on and so forth I am assuming that invidia 1080 is advanced enough to handle the game plus enhancing mods. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks
