Yaaaaaay, I can play again! What Kriiks sugested worked. I have next to no CTD and I haven't encountered a single infinite loading screen in five hours of play. *crossing fingers not to jinx it* Still playing in windowed mode to be safe, so I can ctrl alt del out of it if needed, but so far so good..

@jjb54 I appreciate the help, I really do, but please read the original post in its entirety before replying. I wrote in my original post that I did 5 of the 7 things you suggested, before you suggested them, and the other two (number 4 and 7) don't apply, as I have noted in the description in my first post. I know you're trying to help, but it's a lot more effective if you actually read what I need help with... Would you like to go back up to the top, actually read what I posted, and try again? I'd appreciate it.

There was a time when it helped to greatly reduce the infinite loading screen frequency, and almost completely eliminated my CTD issues, but yeah, no, it never fully eliminated it.

Hello all. So, I get the infinite loading screen consistently when I enter Riften, and sporadically throughout the rest of the game, often when fast-travelling. I managed to get into Riften once after using console command PCB. I have not tested further to see if this produces consistent results. In the readout below, ENB, setting set to low, and the minimal autosaves were included in my multiple attempts to solve this problem over the course of the last few days. They were not successful. Okay, so I admit I'm not that familiar with Modding, and have never actually built a mod. I just use other ppls. I have no clue how to use the construction set and am not tech savvy in that manner, so if you suggest any solution that alters files etc. please be as simple and specific as possible as to not addle my tech-tarded brain. I am using several mods that change physical appearance of characters int he game, and have not until now had this problem, but I used to have it all the time when I first started using mods (I generally just reinstall the game, start from scratch, no mods, and select very few that alter the texture of characters.) The problem is that the eyes on every character, PC and NPC alike, have vanished, and now I can see straight out of the backs of their heads like I'm looking through the eyes of a mask. Here are the list of mods I had active before this happened: 5 guidebooks (added several books) Alchemist Cave 1.1 Game Modifications Revisited (added a bunch of small changes) Beautiful People 2.7 The Four Ten Commandments (added a book) Border Disabler Cyrodill Castle Vaults 2.0 Dexwood Family Saga 2.0 Enchanting and Spellmaking Books ImpeREAL City 2.6.1 Invisibility Ring 1.0 Madness Hideout 1.0 Male Body Mod 1.0 (Robert2) More Music Mod 1.0 Mystery at Wellspring Grove Quest 1.2 Prisoner's Campsite 1.2 The Kingdom (version Alpha 3) Transmutation on the Mountain 2.3 Tweaked Roberts Female Body Mod 1.0 (by the_one123) I added COBL 1.72 and all the eyes vanished. I deactivated COBL, and the eyes were still gone. (using Omod here, don't want to try using anything less complicated than this to manage my mods) Any solutions? tweaks? patches? suggested replacement mods?
