Hey guys! So i was trying to copy a certain character from a certain game (not an easy task, mind you!) and after quite a while playing with the sliders I came up with this. The reason I am not telling you which character it is, is because, IF you guys can recognize what character it's supposed to be, then that means I've done at least a decent job. If you guys can't, then perhaps I should try more (unless you don't know the game it is from at all). Please see attachment for screenshot. Let me know what you think!

Hello! The project has not been abandoned, however, I have been sick for the last few weeks, I am waiting for that to end. :( As soon as I am able to I will resume efforts on this mod :)

Thank you very much for your replies :) Right now we are fleshing out the story, and are still looking for a modder interested int aking up the project. As soon as we begin building the mod we will surely need to get that voice acting on the way :D Any modder that would be interested in taking up the project I can send them what we have so far story-wise through private message :)

Yeah, definitely taking my time reading and re-reading tutorials. Since my focus is to make quests, I am reading the quests tutorials first. Provided that in the end I can't find modders to help with my project, I might just have to do it myself. Although I really hope that is not the case... it will take quite a long time to get it done then :( :D But I am bent on getting this done one way or another :) I just hope that I don't get it done by the time the next elder scrolls is out, lol XD hehe

Well, I have started my quest to learn how to mod and it looks like I have a ton of work ahead of me ^.^

Well, the plan is to make new NPCs, and eventually modify old ones. However, in order to avoid creating in-game conflicts with existing quests and other things that might be affected by modifying a vanilla NPC, at least to start I believe it's best to make a new unrestricted NPC. I might be being a bit ambitious here, but if we manage to find a team willing to submit to a truly epic project, I would like to eventually reach out to every single NPC in the game. That, however, is something that is as of now way beyond my reach. I can't mod worth a dime, and I am hoping to find modders and people that can use the CK wiling to put time into this. Until then, I will be writing stories, dialogue, and anything else story-related with the help of the others that are with me on the project currently. Ultimately, we need a modder willing to spend the time to put our words into the game :) I fired up the Creation Kit for the first time ever when I started this thread, and been following some tutorials, but I am so far from knowing what I am doing. I will follow through with this project no matter what. If I never do find a modder, then eventually I'll learn how to mod myself. And Aediles Beadle, if you want to help with story well, you could PM me your ideas ^.^. So far we have three outlines for three different stories, two female NPCs and one male NPC (for the female players out there) we will develop only one at first, but everything else we create in between will find its way into the game at some point :)

Wow, thank you very much for that thread, I sent the author a PM, hopefully he will write back. What started as 1-2 starting stories, have now become 3-4 stories. No idea which we will implement first, I am waiting on feedback from the other story-writers to see what they think :) At this rate, by the time we work on the first NPC I'll have a story down for all of the ones I am hoping to implement, lol. Have two female NPC starting stories, and a male one. I might just post my story ideas here in the future, but I'd really hate to post spoilers for potential mod players ^.^ hehe :D

TheDarkPrince & Eukalipto Well, in the end, some of the creators' personality will rub off on the character. Personally, regardless of how creative I could be, I find it nearly impossible to create a character that is the total opposite of who I am, maybe since it's well, the oppiste ^.^ 3ukalipto, I understand perfectly what you mean and it absolutely makes sense. I am hoping to not simply create a Mass Effect idea, in which you interact a little bit with a character and then you can sleep with them. I am hoping to have a mod in which the NPC is as important as the player themselves and winning their affection would take both dedication and patience. And even afterwards, maintaining that spark should take dedication and patience. I have already drafted two short versions of the NPC stories I have in mind, although I haven't posted them here, since they are quite not ready. The example in my very first post (thread starter) is one of them, although that idea has been expanded upon. Esteris has some great suggestions as well, and the list she made in the previous page is a very good example of what I would like to achieve. Now, if only we could find a scripter willing to commit to a project such as this ^.^ hehe :D We have time though, so I will continue writing, developing characters, and the team will eventually come together at some point :)

Hehe it would probably be quite lame :D Haha Decision making is pretty awesome. I have been thinking up some good story starters and such ^.^ I sent you a PM, by the way, I hope you don't mind :) Any other suggestions or comments are fully welcome. And remember! We need people that want to participate ^.^

Hmm honestly I am torn between the two. I would love to do both at once, but that won't be possible. Being a guy, maybe I could do a male character first, since it would be easier for me to infuse such NPC with a personality (let's face it, 90% of us men have no actual idea how women really think). Furthermore, I have been considering leaving the female romanceable NPC for a female storywriter, which I have one interested at the moment. In a way, maybe us writers could infuse those NPCs with our own personalities ^.^ perhaps a way to let the players get to know the people behind the mod themselves :D Would that be lame? ^.^ I will ask the other two that are currently with me to see if they think we should go with a female or male character first. :)

Thank you so very much for the suggestions. Some of them are exactly what I have in mind, but it will probably be a mod that will take a long while ^.^ I have already found another storywriter that wants to help with the project, so her and me will be putting our ideas together very soon to see what we can formulate. I have an outline of what the "plot" will be like, but I am considering letting her write and design a side of the plot in her own way and develop a character in whichever way she sees fit. In other words, I will take care of developing and creating everything pertaining to the main character, while she will take care of another character in the story along the way. Then, we will put both our mini-stories together. What I am hoping to do is, instead of simply write everything in a way that would seem "appropriate" for me, I am hoping to perhaps run into an NPC personality that I might not be able to visualize, and then I would have to adjust my NPCs reactions and opinions according to how that other NPC affects my NPC. Haha, I don't know if I am making any sense. I guess you could call it "roleplaying". Talking about which, you should totally join us ^.^ :D
