A thing that i don't like about Skyrim is the way that you need to "equip" magick in one of your hand.
Rendering you unable to use magick wiel dualwielding or while using a twohander weapon...
The all" you need free hands to use magick" in fantasy stuffs always make my teeth grind...,i like to play a char who use dark/destructive magick while using a twohander sword!!!
So if i have to swith each time between the two...,that would be a nuissance, that was the only good thing about magick in Oblivion...
Well luckily there would be rapidly a mod that fix that...
Seriously...a free hand...magick come from your beeing, not from only your hand...
I hope Shouts don't require to have a free hand or something...
Judging from the official trailer, I guess all Shouts need is but a free mouth.
I think they can in fact make non-hand-acquired magic system available, designing it to be a bit harder than the normal hand-using ones to master. Give this type of mental magic a certain chance to fail or hurt the character himself since it could be harder to focus in battles with just thoughts than with the help of gestures.

Anyone else notice the Adoring Fan's head mounted on the wall of that new fan art Zaldiir posted?
Anyone notice the other adoring fan talking with the bearded guy at the back of the room on the right hand side? o_O
Maybe that's Fargoth in the background.. But that would mean the worst has happened: Both of them are in the same room.
Well, what can I say? Looks like pointy heads are taking the trend :D

I'd create a male character for my first gameplay. To get used to the rough cold weather and all that kind of stuff, ha! Then, if the females look good enough, I'd create a girl. Just don't force me to wear dresses, though. I prefer trousers & leggings. Yep.

Mods are what keep the game alive after a while. And mods are on PC.

I think since male players are way more than female ones, it's inevitable to have lots of sexy armors that only cover the 'spots' of female characters. *sigh* I like nice looking girls as well, but not so...exposed.
Oh I want rough male armors that best fit the environment and can let me feel the ancient germanic heroic time!!!!

Yeah. Iron bikini might look nice, but wouldn't be able to withstand a blow
-
Agreed.
But somehow I just can't fight my curiosity :teehee: It's in 'tgm', I guess.

I in fact had quite a good time readign these long posts. They're my type, I guess.
Personally, I think it is rather common for fantasy games or books to bring the elements into their imaginary worlds. Such is the case in TES.

As someone who has played and loved both the Fable series and TES series I've always been curious what a new elder scrolls game would be like if you were able to actually interact, befriend, and possibly romance and later marry an NPC. I've always found that buying a house was just a big waste of money (at least to me). I buy them but never use them cause 1) I love to adventure in the game so I don't spend time in towns unless there was a purpose to be in that town (quests, sell/buy equipment/spells). and 2) I never carry more than I need to and I never have an item that I absolutely need to hold onto so I don't exactly have stuff I need to keep in storage. Now if there were a friendship and romance system with NPCs then I could see having a house. If I had friends in towns I'd see them and the house would be useful to raise a family in and have a child of your own.
Exactly. I've squandered much of my money buying lots in cities just to see what they look like, but after that, I hardly even went in again. Relationships' are what ties you to one place. Romance and fiendship would be nice.

A male Imperial Warrior/Ranger, called Aragorn, using an one-handed or a two-handed sword and a bow, some minor illusion magic, maybe some skill on sneak, skilled with heavy and light armor. After that a male Imperial Ranger, with a bow, a shortsword and a dagger, in light armor, with the sneak skill, some skill on illusion and acrobatics.
The latter sounds rather like a human version Lagolas

I like duels (though it sounds rather with a Renaissance smell if you say it in a different tone  )
I think there would still be guards, though, considering Skyrim now belongs to the empire built by the Imperials. It'd be strange if there's no strong cultural traits of the Imperials such as the guards posted in the cities. But I agree that the law would be kind of loose, ha ha

There's another thing that I want to add: STOP forcing girls to wear skirts when all they want are trousers while hunting! :yucky:

Most likely a male nord warrior going viking on them dragons..
Edit: He will have a totally epic beard by the way
Epic beard.

Imperial or Dunmer jack-of-all-trades. Funny, huh?
Since I like to fight with blades and arrows and bows and a little bit of magic, it'd be extremely difficult for my character to be an expert in anything. :teehee:
Acrobats would be nice. I don't like to fight in armors since I love cloghings
As for the gender...if the females are good-looking enough, I'd play as a girl.

I long to see kids running around!!! The higher the AI is, the better.
Cooking is nice as well, since I'm tired of staring at all those raw meat in Oblivion. And random quests! Now that's life, isn't it?
-
Yeah, if DB can attack the player...or any one at all would be nice. It'd be more realistic because surely DB fuctions even if the player is not one of the members

I'm 18. It surprises me that 40+ is 30.28%!!!

Oh yeah! My age is quite normal here... :D

Anduhnaë Elnadról (an-duh-NAE el-NA-droll)
**notice the"h"still has its sound
Stepping into the tavern, the female elf pulled off her black hood lincking to the long cloat she was wearimg, her straight raven black hair reflecting the fire light. She walked to the corner of the hall with perfactly balanced strides and arranged the chairback to the wall. After days of traveling, all she wanted was a night of rest.

Hello!
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I'm having some trouble with texture mods, and I'm not sure what to do. For example, I've tried several different map replacements, unzipping the texture folder straight into my data folder, or copying the files directly where they belong, but no dice. The map just stays brown and dull.
Also, I tried some replacement character textures *cough* nude mods *cough,* and they show up, but they look extraordinarily ugly- nothing like the screenshots. I changed the resolution- currently I'm running it at 1440x900- but that doesn't seem to work.
Has anyone had any similar problems? The nude mods I don't care about, but I'd really like to get a color map in, and this is worrying me because now I'm being paranoid and thinking my environment texture replacements aren't working right. If anyone has any advice, I'd really appreciate it.
Perhaps you should go check the word file when you unzip your mods in order to see if it requiers any other mods.
By the way, does anybody know whereI can find "Cosmetic Compilation (Merged plugin with Capucine's Character Expansion and Etc)"? Or if anyone has already being useing Ren's Beautypack, would you just upload that "Cosmatic C." thing? Thax!

Think you should first unzip the files you downloaded and have the esp files in the Oblivion data file. The put in the disk and click "Data Files" and have the mods you wish to use with an "X", just like the oblivion esm file. Be sure to read the documents of the mod so that you have every the it requires.
But I have a problem myself here. I just downloaded Ren's beautypack v1.1 and already unziped it, but when I try to creat a new charac., her head is just blank! How come this happen!?

Can't shoot arrows or chop a gobling's head off while on horseback is really intolerable to me.
