THANK YOU all for clearing that up for me. And yes, the culprit is, indeed, the Relationship Dialogue Overhaul. Unfortunately I couldn't sacrifice Saryn to Boethiah because my game crashed, again (can't get out of Markarth, not even with coc-commands). So, I'll have to start over, again, for the millionth time...

Sorry if this ends up in the wrong topic category, just didn't know where else to put it or ask about it. So, is there somewhere a comprehensive list of NPCs that the Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Patch reinstates in the game? I ask this because in my previous play-throughs I've come across Terek the old hobo inhabiting Breezehome in Whiterun (even after you buy it), and the mod also reinstates dialogue options to have Proventus plus a guard chase said hobo out of the playerhome. Unfortunately many of my previous play-throughs have ended up in massive bug-mountains (due to too many mods > my bad), so I haven't gotten very far. Now, I've come across a new NPC I've never seen before and I've searched every possible Skyrim NPC list I can think of, but I can't find him anywhere. He's called Saryn (just that, no "surname" attached) and he's a dark elf male that I found walking out of Windhelm near the stables. My only dialogue options with him were "hi", and "follow me, I need your help". So, I recruited him. And he's a mage (destruction, conjuration, and alteration), with a tiny dagger. BUT WHO IS HE? And I can't dismiss him. There's no such dialogue option. Just can't get rid of him. I'm thinking about sacrificing him to Boethia... :P
