Skyrim Official Trailer is a disappointment
moviemarketing replied to ReaperLeopard's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
you needed a comparison to tell that? I second your notion... the trailor does indeed suck,.. but it's purpose is mainly announcement, correct? more trailors will come. I'm really surprised to hear this reaction. I have never watched a gameplay trailer over and over as many times as the Skyrim trailer. I believe it is the best videogame trailer I've ever seen. The Dead Island trailer was excellent as well, but after watching some gameplay footage, it was a huge letdown compared to the trailer, and it made the Dead Island trailer feel gimmicky. Which specific Witcher 2 trailer are you referring to? I'll have to watch it. -
Because someone recently confirmed it's actually a Redguard, not a Nord. Bethesda character artist vsions(forum handle) said it was a Redgaurd from before they added dark skin tones. So imagine that character with dark skin and that is what she will look like in game. Nope - you guys are totally mixed up. Here is the pic vsions confirmed was a redguard: http://0.tqn.com/d/compactiongames/1/0/t/r/1/elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-scr06.jpg And he said they decided to darken the skin tone after the pic was released, so it's not an accurate representation of what Redguards will look like in Skyrim. In any case, if you want to add a bunch of old pics that are not related to QuakeCon, why not just post up all of the screens we've seen since January? I think by adding that old magazine scan of the Nord woman wearing dragon armor, you are giving people the wrong impression that it is one of the new QuakeCon screens.

Fixed

@OP - Why are you posting the pic of the Nord woman wearing dragon armor? That pic is really old, from May or April, and has nothing to do with the QuakeCon journalist character pics.

ENBSeries TOO DARK! Help? Need settings
moviemarketing replied to thawed2h2o's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
I have a very similar problem once in a while, but for some reason going back to a much earlier interior save seems to fix it, without changing any settings. -
Wrye Bash Launcher.pyw not working!
moviemarketing replied to Sonoske's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
Ok thats installed and whatnot my next problem is this tut im using sucks this is what is says and im not getting what im supose to do! I copyed the bash_default.ini and renamed it to bash.ini but it will say this if you rename it thatway bash.ini.ini I take ith the i remove all the text inside the bash_default copy and set the path to my mod folder? This is what it says. Configure Bash: Find the "bash_default.ini" in Oblivion\Mopy and copy it Rename the copy to "bash.ini." Open the bash.ini Set "sOblivionMods" to the path to your "Oblivion Mods" folder. Example: sOblivionMods=D:\Oblivion Mods\ Scroll down and make sure that the paths to other programs are correct. The root folder is the "Oblivion" folder, so paths that do not start with a drive letter (i.e., "C:\" or "D:\") start in the "Oblivion" folder. Example: someentry=aprogram.exe is the equivalent of someentry=C:\Program Files\BethSoft\Oblivion\aprogram.exe >> notes: 1) If you followed the instructions above for installing the utilities mentioned above, they are already in the root folder ("Oblivion") so you should not have to change the file paths for those. 2) Do not worry if you see a program in the bash.ini that you do not have installed. Bash ignores apps that it does not find (if they are not installed or if the file path is wrong.) Somehow my version of bash_default.ini is corrupted and it only has two examples - the code for the file path for the Oblivion Mods directory and the code for the settings for Tes4Gecko.jar. All the other entries withexample lines of code are missing from my bash_default.ini. This is very problematic because I can't create a proper bash.ini file and the only way I can launch Wrye Bash is by deleting the bash.ini file, in which case I'm able to create a bashed patch but not able to import specific mods from the Bash Installers folder that require this for installation, such as the All Natural mod. The following is the entire text of my bash_default.ini file I would prefer not to reinstall Wrye Bash again using the installer for fear of corrupting something or affecting one of the mods or the bashed patch. Would it be possible for someone to paste here the complete text of the correct bash_default.ini file? -
I downloaded this mod http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34954 and followed the instructions, which were simply to copy the unzipped .esp file to the correct folder. However, nothing happened. The desired in-game changes did not take place. Do I need to install or run some sort of archive invalidated file to make this mod work? I don't have any other mods installed for new vegas; however, I am using the 4GB loader fix.

Better HARDCORE (Balance Tweak)
moviemarketing replied to moviemarketing's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Ideas
Awesome features you have described, Cosmic! I'm really looking forward to your mod. I think it will be extremely popular. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help! -
LMAO - actually this could be a lot of fun

Hardcore mode is sweet! It's really starting to approach a more balanced game. In FO3 you could load up on stimpaks and then you are invincible and the game becomes too easy. In FNV hardcore mode, you really have a reason to look for food and drinks, etc., VATS does not make you invincible, and stimpaks healing effects are a lot more realistic and the game is much more fun on hardcore mode. In FO3, food and water are just a lot of junk to weigh you down because stimpaks are so powerful and weightless. Unfortunatley, Bethesda/Obsidian did not go far enough. There is too much water and food easily available everywhere and sleep is only necessary every other day or so. I don't know if anyone is already working on tweaks to hardcore mode for this mod, but I guarantee many players who have tried hardcore mode would love to see some of the following tweaks: - a lot less effective reduction of FOD SLP DEH when drinking, eating, sleeping. - less or no HP boost from drinking from the ubiquitous drinking fountains, toilets, sinks (or massive RAD penalty) - slightly more weight to ammo, or lower carrying capacity overall - possibly stronger penalties for dehydration/hunger/sleepiness
