Ok so I figured out how to open the game through the manager but the mods do not work. It just looks like the regular game. Anybody know whats happening?

Hello. I am new to modding and would like to install the Dying Light Manager Mod. However I don't really know what I am doing. I downloaded the mod and extracted the file. The manger opens but won't launch the game. I get a message saying to choose exe. What do I do? Can someone instruct me on the proper way to install the manager? Thanks
