I love realism just as much as anime/cartoon style mods. I simply have separate game installs for each, one for realism/strict lore, and one for pretty much everything else. I do not see the need to bash a mod at all if it doesn't suit a desired style or genre etc. It is just ignorant in my opinion, and most of the people complaining take it too far. There is nothing wrong with expressing one's artistic abilities, creativity, and imagination through the development and creation of game mods. If you cannot accept this, then it is you who are the fools, too blinded and untalented to create true works of art. Just show some respect to the creators of mods, sure you have the right to express an opinion, but at the very least, present it maturely, and respectfully. If you have nothing nice to say, why not just keep the nasty comments to yourselves.

I am pretty sure it is my load order, however it could be something else. Whenever I go to the alien crash site, after I float up, before the loading screen, it goes black and crashed to desktop. I have also tweaked my new load order, as the BOSS load order was causing me mountains of problems. Thanks again for the help! *I remembered having the exact same problem with tranquility lane, and had to do some tweaking then also, but this time thankfully it wasn't as extreme where I had to remove EVERY mod in order to pass one small part of the game.*

Today I decided I'd fire up some Skyrim and maybe start a new char, but when I went to launch, I was halted with the new update. Nothing too serious, just waited 2-3 minutes and tried once again to launch Skyrim. Once again I was halted because I received an error that my Skyrim wasn't compatible with Skyboost I think it was... Well whatever... removed skyboost, and tried for the third time only to be stopped again because SKSE is also now out of date because of the new patch... hoooly freakin callimelons .... I figured even if I wasn't using SKSE, I could still manage to play Skyrim. but once I finally got into the game, I noticed massive amounts of missing textures, resolution of most objects was either returned to Vanilla, or brutally glitched. My character's body looked very strange, with really wide shoulders, and virtually NO neck at all when wearing armor lol, I wont even get started on my inventory... anyways, things are messed up. I was wondering when and where can we get the latest version of SKSE, is there a place here on Nexus that announces the newest release? Until I find a new version, one that is compatible with the new 1.4vPatch for Skyrim, I won't be able to play...

I know what you said, however the substrate I have in my cage is small bark chips, if even one is ingested it could literally shred the insides of my snake, and everyone else I have spoken to told me I should feed outside of the main tank until I swap out the substrate for something a little better. I just want to play it safe for now, and avoid any mistakes, accidents and or disasters. Also, I have heard that if you introduce food into their main tank, they can mistakenly associate you with food, and will strike if you place your hand in the tank. The frame of mind I had, was to dissociate myself from the food/feeding, and hopefully avoid any potential confusion. I guess if you just left the food in the tank and let them be it would minimize your interaction during the feeding process, so you are absolutely correct in that matter. Again, this is all very new to me, and I will continue to find the best ways of caring and providing for my snake, so I thank you again for your help and advice Calliton.

doesn't a frozen meal mess with the snake's metabolism I have read on many sites, and even from the owners of the pet store from where I bought my snake, they all claim frozen mice, once thawed out, are perfectly fine to eat. The lady who owns the store has a 4 year old snake still feeding off of frozen mice, and she says it is in perfect health. (She has owned her pet store for over 35 years so I assume she knows her stuff) I still feel that frozen mice right now are the safer choice for me as my snake is still only 2 months old, and hasn't ever been fed live mice. I may decide to transition her to live mice, but only after I have done more research. I have also read somewhere that frozen mice are safer to eat, as live rodents have a higher chance of containing parasites, and frozen mice are inspected and made sure they are clean before being frozen.

Hehe, I love these topics, they get your brain going! Makes you wonder all sorts of things, like what is at the basis of our perceived existence, the ultimate "What" questions that drive us mad. I love shows like "The Universe" and "Andromeda" , and basically anything discussing the meaning, purpose, and origin of creation, perception of reality, and the mathematics and mechanics of the universe. Check out the "Cosmic Apocalypse" Episode of "The Universe" , quite an entertaining video. They don't delve too much into the heavy and complex math, it is more for entertainment, but still pretty interesting to watch and think about. The episodes about time, space, light, gravity and dark matter & dark energy are also very interesting.

@ TheCalliton Thanks for the tips and advice, I really needed to hear the words directly from someone. So far, the things I am confident I have done right, are providing comfortable substrate, I use reptile bark as well as chopped up paper towel/newspaper, I have hiding sections on both sides of the tank, one for the heated side, and one for the cool side.I have purchased a few frozen "pinkies" and will be feeding her one either tomorrow or the next day depending on her behaviour, as well as if she voids waste. I am going to find a better water dish in the next few days, it just looks too flashy and brightly colored for my tank, plus I dont think she likes the texture when she slides over the edge. I am also going to buy far better greenery for the tank, that aquarium junk is only to provide extra protection and fill up empty space untill I buy proper decor. I will also be buying a ceramic heat lamp for night time use as last night it got quite cold here, and she curled up into the heated side for most of the day and night. The other smaller stuff, like background landscape, extra tank decor, quality water/moss dishes will all be purchased in the next week or so. Oh and as for my next size tank, once she has grown to reach both ends of the tank, I will be trading my brother this tank and upgrading to a far larger tank, at least 6 feet, most likely larger. I do not like to cheap out when it comes to my pets, after all, living up here in Canada, it is far from it's natural habitat, and I have a great resepct for animals, so I will do everything I can to provide for it. She seems a lot more comfortable today, she was roaming around and climbing on the tree and over the rock, she even took a short bath haha. I also placed my hand into the tank and she approached me and slid over my hand ^^ I hope she really enjoys it once I have everything just right.

Right now she is only 2 months old, and the average corn snake lives around 10 years, with the oldest living somewhere around 31 years I think. A full grown adult will stop growing at around 5 feet more or less. For food, they can eat either live or frozen mice with varying sizes in relation to the size of your snake. Frozen mice you need to thaw out in warm water before you feed them. At first they start on "Pinkies" which are baby mice, pretty small, about the size of the tip of my pinky finger. Next, once they are larger, you can start feeding them either 2 pinkies a week, or upgrade the size of the mouse to "fuzzies", a slightly larger mouse, that has started to grow its fur, hence the name :). Once your snake has grown larger, you can start feeding it "Hoppers", which are matures mice. If your snake continues to grow you can feed it adult, large, or jumbo mice, or even switch to rats, which can grow much larger. It is always much safer to feed snakes frozen mice, as live mice can and will defend themselves. I don't have the extra cash to take my snake to a vet either so frozen mice will be just fine for now. It does seem more natural for snakes to eat live prey, however I also have 2 dogs, and if I drop that mouse even by accident..... or if one of them sees me handling it lol its all over XD

SHE'S PINK! :dance: Im so excited, the past few days I've been a bit nervous because I've never owned a snake, and after researching for 2 weeks straight, I became really paranoid in regards to a proper tank setup. Snakes are very fragile creatures when they are young, and I have done everything I can to do things the right way, I just hope she likes what I created for her. Feel free to rate my tank setup, offer me advice, and just let me know what you guys think! *Edit - New Video of her eating!!!*
