  1. If it's any help, I extracted the sound files so I can put the new sounds in the proper locations. I do the same for the rest of the sounds and they work fine it's the automatic weapon sounds, all of them, that once even a small change is made to the original or a custom they will repeat once you pull the trigger. Is this a creation kit fix?
  2. Been replacing different sounds like explosions, gunfire etc but have run into an unexpected problem. I started on automatic weapon fire sound replacements but what keeps happening is while in game, fire the weapon and the sounds just play over and over and have to exit game for it to stop. I tried opening a stock automatic gunfire/lasers as well, soundfile and either replace whats there, lower the stock sounds level to below audible and run a custom sound alongside and export as wav. Whether I edit a stock automatic sound or use a custom they will just repeat over and over needing to exit game. I'm at a loss, please help.
  3. I have been having this issue with the vanilla music overriding others dlc's like BSBruma. And just about everytime I load up there will be 2 music files playing at the same time. I make custom music for my game and right now with BSBruma none of the replacements for dungeon generic and Ayleid dungeon play, just the same repeated vanilla skyrim music. I use the audio convertor and edit with audacity. All my combat music replacements work everytime. I'm doing the same thing I did for those with the others. I'm at a loss, please help.
  4. I can't find the SSE creation kit. Searched the web and only came up with Bethesda.net launcher. I created an account to be able to download it but the conformation email that was supposed to be sent to validate has not come for 4 days now. I tried to see if using the forgot password feature would prompt the email to be sent again. No luck. I really need to get a hold of the creation kit, so do you know a solution for this, or an alternate download location?
  5. Has the DCR blade set reloaded mods been done for SE yet?
  6. I found resources for turning it off, but I want it on, just turned down.
  7. Thank you, I did the steam backup and it didn't take as long as I thought getting it installed again.
  8. Are there any animation replacers for the 44 revolver? I want to get rid of that goofy and time wasting spinning the cylinder before you can shoot when drawing nonsense please.
  9. I haven't wiped or formatted yet. I have the dvd for F4. So then I do have to install it the same way by the dvd while connected and re-download the rest and let steam do it's thing again? Wish it could be as simple as copy paste the game/steam files to storage then drop them back in after reinstalling windows. I always wipe my hd's with killdisk before that though.
  10. I need to wipe hd and re-install windows 7 64. How do I go about re-installing F4? Do I have to download the whole thing again?
  11. Ok cool, thank you. On the NMM it says that some ini edits need to be made or something like that. I pulled back from it for fear of screwing up the installation. I mean there hasn't been 1 single crash or problem with the game and, although I use NMM for fo3, nv, oblivion, skyrim and skyrim se and don't have any issues with it. Both skyrim se and fo4 have been trouble free compared to the olders. Should I make the ini edits for mods in fo4 anyway before the patch install?
  12. The download page for the unofficial patch has one at the bottom that says for vanilla but not supported anymore. Is that the one I need for an un-modded no dlc's version? And do I need to do any ini edits first or just drop in and check?
  13. Anything like that yet?
  14. Well the mods that -are available to us here are ok and some a bit more than that. A lot of the one's I really like are not. But, so far after selecting 20 or so to start and finding that they do work fine gets me almost there. Another run through oldrim with all the good stuff added or through the new with a few things added and the better effects and visuals, and from what i have read maybe a couple surprises....Maybe I could just look at it like a purist going au natural trimming the fat and going for the grit. Been playing an hour and a half into it now and have to say it's good. Having a good rig helps as it's more system heavy than oldrim. So far a pair of 660's runs it flat out at 60fps except for some of the open populated areas down in the high 40's. All I can ask I suppose right now is for those who wrote mods for oldy to please convert!
  15. I am confused about this. Is there or is there not a skyrim script extender for skyrim special edition? If not, why are there so many mods available for special edition if we can't use them?
