  1. Thanks for coming in and try to enter some empathy and reasoning to this individual. At this point this is just becoming disgusting. No matter how obvious and strong the answers we give to him, he just keep answering with the same fallacies over and over and over. I wish he was banned but at the end this doesn't fix anything since sadly, many children share his views. At this point I will just ignore his existence and any words he writes.
  2. Even when in reality I am just a leecher and a user who doesn't contribute with content, I completely agree with you wholeheartedly. I hope measures are taken to protect the authors and that some users mature. Just look at this thread as an example on how to encourage modders to keep going https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/4onln1/thank_you/ Totally the opposite of some comments here.
  3. Well, since they just keep repeating their pity arguments by just changing some words I think they should be muted since no matter how well constructed your answer to them is presented, they just won't acknowledge the very FACT that unauthorized mod uploading is not justifiable by any means. It doesn't matter if you are a console user who is married and do not have time to check the author's name. Modders should be prioritized and protected, they won that right by CONTRIBUTING and CREATING, rather than leeching and justifying the unjustifiable. TLDR: At this point they are not contributing to this discussion and measures should be taken to ensure the comment section remains useful.
  4. Could you and boomerizer please stop derailing this thread trying to justify unauthorized mod uploading? First of all I think content creators, aka modders should always be protected and prioritized more than any user. Even if this doesn't make sense from an economical perspective since the masses are conformed by users who doesn't create content. The first thing I could think about as a form to protecting content creators, is a script to hide comments containing the words trolls and brigaders tend to use to attack modders. It should be very important to not letting the attacker know that his/her comment has been hidden in order for them to try to bypass the script. Even if this measure could hide some valid comments, again, modders should be prioritized.
  5. In response to post #39476840. #39478715 is also a reply to the same post. She has the right to do anything with her mods and to state her opinion no matter if that opinion or actions doesn't fit your own narrative. You are contradicting yourself by using Ad Hominem. Let me clarify that to you since you are clearly unfamiliar with the concept: You said: "anyone who uses the term "Console Peasant" seriously and without joking intent is automatically a douchenozzel in my mind" Some people say: "Anyone who plays in console is a console peasant and an inferior being in my mind" Do you see any difference? Your whole wall of text its filled with contradictions and unfair points like this one: " Mod authors, at least the good ones, will want to optimize their mods and actually build them to be stable for console users" So by your logic, a mod author who doesnt want to optimize their mods for consoles is "bad? Fallacy, that's the conclusion I take after reading your post.
