  1. nope, didnt work for me... just decrease by 1MB
  2. I'm having the same issue with the bloated file. I have been experiencing periodic lags for a while now but in the last 24 hours things changed a little. This time it started with being randomly teleported to the Mzinchaleft Great Lift in middle of gameplay every so minutes. I found out this is a bug when using the lift, so I finally solved it by making a mod which disables the lift entirely. Then I got this problem where the beast form skill is buggy and won't change the race of my character to the werewolf, so basically my character stays the same but I cannot open the favorite menu, skill menu, map etc. I need to use control commands to go around this and haven't managed to fix it. I tried leaving the game running for the night (approx 8 hrs) in the hope that the character would shift back on its own (and to check if the Mzinchaleft bug returned, but it didn't), but at my wake I just found him naked in the middle of nowhere. The skill is still broken. However to my surprise the savefile has gone from 17MB to 45MB and lags are now more frequent and take longer. I have found this apparent solution and haven't tried it out yet, www.gamefaqs.com/boards/615805-/63546645 otherwise I wouldn't know what else to do.
  3. Sounds like you have a very fragile bone when it comes to criticism :) by all means, do it your way sir! And no, I wasn't telling people what to do, I was just giving suggestions and expressing my opinion, which since you have the incredible gift of free will, you may or may not have made good use of it instead of taking this as a personal attack to your intelligence.
  4. yes I do know how to model thanks, i just checked and i can see that you used background imaging. Maybe its an optical illusion, but I don't know, it seems like it's not gonna work cause the joints are too stuck to the torso. The overall model looks flat. Just my comment, you're the expert, boss :)
  5. Cool that someone considered this, I was sort of looking forward to something like this to happen. The original pic looked so good that I wish the model would be as close to it as possible :D Alonso, I think you're going in the right direction, try making the model's head a bit bigger, it is in fact quite bulky in the picture, and the body should be a bit more of a mix between muscles and bones. But anyway probably the pic you posted was just a quick post, I'm sure you've developed the model further from there. Anyway how do you make sure that your rigging gets associated to the skeleton of the horse or the mountain lion in Oblivion? I'd like to learn that cause I haven't found any .nif or animation files specific for creatures to be imported in blender, so that I could use the skeleton. I'd love to know if you can help :D thnx
  6. It's been a while but I'm curious, did you manage to make this mod work? Found anyone to make your lucky mount? I must say the pic you found is really cool, I have some beginner experience with 3ds max, I guess blender is quite close to 3ds max but I only tried a few times and didn't manage to apply what I learn on 3ds max to blender. I had attempted making a centaur for a game which was really a low poly game... I'm not sure how I'd fare with higher polys. But for that mod I got the animations looking good :D was quite happy about that. The mesh didn't turn out to be what I expected, especially the torso, but uh... I'm sure with some practice you can get it done ;)
