  1. I've been modding for myself for years and also like most people I add a crap tone of texture mods, some my own some from other wonderful nexus people. But I ran into the weirdest most annoying thing yesterday and I'm full out stumped. I downloaded a mod put it in and it was meant to change the texture of those cabinet in merchant shops as well as bed frame, chairs, dressers all standard common wood items. Only the bed frame and the standard four corner chair changed. So I though huh, must be the mod. So I downloaded a different one from another person, same thing. And another and another. At this point I was fuming so I pulled out my program to extract files like textures from skyrim itself and the only two I could find was Furniture wood and dresser. Which I had just manually gone in and edited them both. With still no luck. I'd love to know what I'm missing because this is really silly.

So if anyone knows how to fix this problem please tell me =)

  2. I use SKSE for things like SKYUI, Deadly Dragons/Monsters and so on. I'm also looking forward to buying Dragonborn on the fifth but something struck me, do I have to wait for a new SKSE update or will I be ok to just jump in and play?
  3. I got a request to share how I fixed the silly little bug and here is my message

I downloaded the TESV Snipe tool that I found in one of the forums about it. With the tool i loaded my esp file that I had done the changes on and using the tool I saved it as a ESM. Once that was done i reopened the creation kit, loaded up the esm as an archive and singled out the npc in the actor section of the object window. for example I was editing Serana. So I made it so only her name appeared once that was down I held down my mouse and dragged over it making sure it was high lighted and hit Ctrl+F4. And it exported the data. Once that is done just turn off the esp file, take it out of the data even if you want. Just leave the esm and it should work fine. That's how I got it to work, but I found it needed to be in the actor section it self not the All section for some reason.

    hope that helps you =)

  4. I know this had been done before and I read about the Ctrl+F4....which for me doesn't seem to work. All I want to do is edit Serana to have the vampire eye textures i have installed to show up and make her look well better. except of course she goes all weird in the head. I'm not sure what to do :/
