Actually there's a fresh amount of zombies and skeletons, plenty of creepers and spiders too now come to think of it. But there is a huge lack of slimes since 1.7 I haven't seen any yet on that seed.
But I can't complain, lava pool, desert and a forest. What more do I need :)
