I acquired the handle of UncleNoob in WOW as the eldest in my guild, age 51. Noob because I thought rolf referred to a sort of massage and I wondered just what less than 3 (<3) meant. Then I moved to where I had a satellite up link. No WOW, no how that way. Fallout 1, 2, and 3, Morrowind, Oblivion, Civ 4 bts, plus mods and more from before WOW and continuing. I have a good background in using what has been made and I look to continue that behavior.

Okay, so I have at the moment a crap laptop without Internet that can play Oblivion at around 15 fps in the wilderness and a computer that for various reasons cannot be used to play Oblivion or the CS but can download the mods and I can transfer to my laptop via a flash drive. I am experianced in the ways of Oblivion ( I have GOTY on steam that was downloaded to my laptop before my Internet broke). I would like to know what key mods/modding resources I would have to download. I am more interested in playing mods rather than modding, by I'd like to give both a go. Also, would my laptop be able to play modded Oblivion. It has a dual core Intel processor that is running at around 1.6 Ghz, integrated graphics and 2 Gbs of RAM. It is about 6-8 years old. I have played around invthe .ini settings and changed that around to my liking, doesn't crash except occasionally.I know I will have to download OMOD and Wyre Bash, but what others? (Maybe not written correctly as this is being written on my itouch).
There is a German made mod for Oblivion that is a total conversion mod but it's all in German. The English version is coming out in September. I think that is the one you will want as it will be something totally new, but not require any more hardware than you need/have for Oblivion.

Sorry no big insight here. I position the keyboard so that my left wrist and arm are supported comfortably, then I use my left "pinky" finger to hold down the ctrl while using my middle finger for the W key. My index finger is then free to E - jump, R - magic, or F - fight. I hit the space bar with my thumb. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is not a risk when you sit upright, press your palms flat together (like in prayer), and keeping your fore arms level in front of you. The stretch of your wrist muscles comes from rotating palms from pointing up to pointing down. Don't hurt yourself, just stretch from time to time until you can hold your hands pointing down for a count of half your age. Carpal tunnel is caused by wrist muscles thickening from use and pinching your nerves. They just need a stretch.
