I figured it was a bad one... any recommendations for a better one that will work with my laptop? One that isn't too expensive? I'm running Skyrim on my Dell Vostro 3500 and I can't seem to get a stable and smooth game running. I have an Nvidia GeForce 310M graphics card (not sure if it's good or bad) and have all of my in game settings turned all the way down. My system info is: Intel i5 CPU M 430 @ 2.27GHz 2.26 GHz 4 GB of RAM Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit I'm new to computer hardware and the meaning behind it all so if my questions or descriptions don't make sense feel free to correct me and asks me questions and I'll answer to the best of my ability lol. So what I'm basically trying to ask is what would YOU recommend I try (besides buying new hardware, I can't afford that atm). I am running a fair amount of mods (149 plugins to be exact), but I am currently going through and disabling ones I can part with lol. I have also gone through the Skyrim Tweak Guide and it has helped, but I still have a lot to be desired :/

I still haven't had any luck getting UFO to work through MO... Anyone have any ideas?

A couple of months ago I found a guide on the Nexus that was to help improve game performance with different tweaks and mods and I cannot seem to find it. The guide had a section about installing Enboost without using an ENB for improved performance and I was an idiot and forgot to track it. It was posted as a mod, but didn't have any files to download (if that helps locate it). And it was a Hotfile for a bit. Anyone know of what I'm talking about?

I believe it is compatible as I just got an update today, but I'm not sure when it came out exactly. I haven't played in a few weeks. Edit: I just realized you were talking about UFO and not MO lol my bad, I'll do some more research into it.

I am having issues with UFO working correctly in my game when I run it through MO. I have all prerequisite mods installed, but it doesn't register that UFO is installed. I tested installing the mod both in my data folder and through MO at the same time so see if that would work, but my game still will not register that UFO is installed. Every other mod I have installed through MO has worked perfectly. I went to the mod page and followed the exact descripction on how to properly install the mod and I still haven't had any luck. Any ideas? Anyone else have this problem?

Thank you again :) I have all the Realsword mods and I am gonna download the first Excalibur mod you posted. The others are great mods, the people who made them did excellent work, but I like my weapons to not be super fancy, I like the blade to be a normal, straight blade, basically the only thing i like fancy is the hilt of the sword :P another thing I should have made clear from the beginning Edit: oh and I like the scabbard to look really nice too, but plain at the same time... ah now I'm confusing myself :P Edit: I do have the Kingdom of Heaven Odo Sword mod

Thank you for the heads up and the links :) That first mod that I didn't really care for is a good mod, don't get me wrong, but I'm not a big fan of the Templars, I should have made that clear in the first place :confused: As to the mod request: What I would really love is a full set of Ibelin Knight armor from the movie Kingdom of Heaven and the Sword of Ibelin from the same movie. Below are pictures of the cuirass/surcoat and the sword. I don't expect exact replicas, but that would be cool :) Edit: I just noticed that the "bands" on the handle of the sword are supposed to be gold

Thank you both :) I downloaded Paint.net because I still couldn't get GIMP to open the file :/ I retextured the monk robe and now I'm stuck lol. I'm not sure where to save it or how to get it in my game. And I'd like to be able to view the robe put together to see if I placed my added texture in the right spot, how can I do this?

I'm trying to keep it simple and just retexture a normal monk robe, I'm trying to make it look like a hospitaller robe. I unpacked the meshes and textures compressed BSAs and was able to open up the monk robe in nifskope, I located the texture and am trying to open it in GIMP to add the new texture, but I can't figure it out. If you know of an easier way to go about doing this I would really like to hear it :) Another thing, if you know of better programs that are free (really strapped for money at the moment :/) and will make my life easier, I would greatly appreciate a link or description to one :)

I am new to modding and all I am attempting right now is a simple retexture, but I can't seem to get that right, I have watched videos on Youtube and have read wikis, but I can't seem to figure it out. Can someone please help me out? I've been searching tesnexus for days now, yes days, for mods with good medieval style weapons and armor and I'm shocked at how little there actually are. I find modders resources, but I don't know the first thing about modding. So I am asking for anyone out there in the community who would make a great medieval mod, I would be very grateful.
