  1. I don't remember where I got the model for the Plasma Carbine I am doing this on, or I would have contacted the author. Even if I did, I can only send the mesh; the texture is over 5MB. Would a screenshot help?
  2. Checked FOMM, and it already has that Archive Invalidation option enabled. Did I do something wrong with the mesh? It shows up fine in NifSkope, but when I try to load it in GECK, I get the exclamation point.
  3. And how would I go about doing that? I'm a total newb in this modding scene, working on a personal project. Please, if you want to help, I need specifics.
  4. I've tried adding custom sounds to weapons in my little personal project. No dice. The sounds never play. I don't suppose I need to convert the sound to a specific format/bitrate? Also, I tried loading the weapon model in GECK after tinkering with it in NifSkope (adding nodes for projectile and trigger and whatnot and setting where the right hand grips the weapon, not sure I need much more than that considering I'm going with the Recharger ammo option), but all I got was a red shape with an exclamation point. Trial and error, I know, but any suggestions to fix that and make the weapon (Sangheili Plasma Carbine) load properly in GECK? --IA
  5. Okay, I'll make this as short and simple as I can. I need help. I have recently (through varied means) acquired models for several energy weapons I wish to see working in Fallout: New Vegas, and more will follow. Getting the models for NV was not the issue, nor is working them in GECK. The issue, as it is, is rigging the models to function properly. I have no idea how to do this. How do I set the locations for gripping the weapon? Where they fire from? Where the second hand grips the weapon (as all of these are rifles)? I admit this stuff is a bit out of my league at present, which is why I am asking here. This is a personal project of mine, but if someone is interested, I will release it to the public. Otherwise, this will remain a personal project. Weapons list is as follows (I will upload images as soon as I can get them uploaded): Sangheili Plasma Carbine Romulan Disruptor Rifle, TNG Era Romulan Disruptor Rifle, TNG Era Adv. variant Klingon Disruptor Rifle Federation Prototype Plasma-Disruptor Rifle Federation Prototype Disruptor Rifle As I said, depending on how well I see these doing, more may follow.   6. Mmm... an interesting mod. Anthro races in NV alone are something of a favored mod of mine. I would love to see this mod continued, though I regret it has taken me this long to post, as I have only become aware of it just today. Unfortunately, I have no modding skills you would find of use, but I would gladly test this mod out should that be required at any time. Just tell me what needs testing and what to watch for.
