  1. I am running XP, and the game runs just fine. With my crappy rigs, I lag a bit and I also heard Windows 7 runs better than XP. Although with XP I never experienced any "black screen" at all. I'll deffinitly be on Windows 7 when I buy a new computer, anyway it's about the native OS of most of the computers now.
  2. Thanks alot for the reply I appreciate!
  3. I just found out this community recently and I hear from multiple forums and chatbox that mods could spice up my gameplay. Although I never used a mod ever and the furthest I went in the vanilla game was not so further than level 10. Today, I was rolling my thumbs and found my Oblivion CD taking the dust, so I decided to reinstall the game and start playing again, and this time get further. I would just like to hear your opinion, wether using mods will or won't affect my newbie gameplay, maybe I should wait to get more experienced to the game before using mods?
  4. You did some great work Valkyrie, the resemblance to what the OP asked is totally stunning.
  5. I'm pretty sure the best solution for this problem would be a reinstall unfortunately. When a file is corrupt, you can't really do nothing about it other than reinstalling to refresh the official files and put them back to the right directory. When editting, moving or removing files, this kind of thing will most likely happen if it hasn't been done right. It might be possible that there is a bugged file, which would be an option if you removed, replaced or editted files many times. Remember to always keep the setup of your games/mods at all time so when this kind of problem occurs, you dont have to redownload everything. If I was you, I would reinstall, it would probly save you more time than if you actually look for the right answer.
