  1. Corrupt shaders. Download the Official Oblivion Shaders to resolve.
  2. Don't build your PC around a 5 year old game, build for the future. If you do that you'll have very little problems running Oblivion, fully modded, or other older games from the years past.
  3. I see no reason to use BOMM anymore with the later versions of BOSS that have been around for the past handful of months. You can create and manipulate your own User List to add and sort unknown mods where you like, add or override BASH tags, add comments, etc... You can also override current rules in the masterlist for existing mods. It's redundant to use BOSS and BOMM and I see no reason to need both.
  4. By running the latest v291 Installer. That's the simplest way to update to the latest version.
  5. Once you purchase a game via STEAM you can install and uninstall it as many times as you wish. You own the game, it's tied to your STEAM account. They don't charge you every time you need to reinstall a game or format your computer. That would just be plain silly and the company would have tanked years ago if that was the case. Also to move STEAM is rather simple as well. Some simply Google searching would point you in the right direction, like the STEAM support page article, Moving a STEAM Installation and Games.
  6. You guys are looking too deep into this problem. There is no need to edit INIs, run in compatibility mode, or anything else of that nature. As previously mentioned, Oblivion sees the newer ATI 57xx cards and thinks they are very old and underpowered GeForce FX 5xxx cards. Therefor Oblivion will set the graphics settings to Very Low and assign a bottom end shader package. To fix this, you simply need to run the Oblivion Launcher and manually select High or Very High for your video settings. This will solve the issue and properly assign the correct shader package. What you're doing by editing the INI and turning "Lite Bright" mode off is only a band-aid, since your game is still using a low-quality, non Shader Model 3.0, Shader package.
  7. If you installed OBGE, which is suggested in the Deadly Reflex 6 ReadMe and required for BloodSplatter.esp to work, then you need to read the OBGE v2 ReadMe. This "issue" is covered in the documentation. If you didn't install OBGEv2 then you must have altered your Oblivion.ini, as suggested by the DR 6 ReadMe, and you need to revert those changes. You can read the Official Deadly Reflex 6 Beta Thread for more information.
  8. Use Map Marker Overhaul in conjunction with Dynamic Map and you're good to go. Easily the best map mods available, and their created by the same author (TheNiceOne -- excellent modder btw) so no need to worry about conflicts.
  9. OBGE works with all mods. OBGE uses shaders to enhance or add various effects to the game.
  10. Another common cause of this error is having the following setting set to high,... fLightLOD2=3500.0000 Setting that over 4500, give or take a few hundred, will cause those color blobs to appear. It seems to vary somewhat for different users on what exact number causes this issue. I suppose it could be hardware related, but lowering the number will definitely rid you of the problem. There is no reason to disable HDR or Bloom to rectify this error.
  11. No. The All Natural documentation covers this. You should always read the documentation provided with the mods you download.
  12. There is so much wrong with that Load Order I don't know where to start. You've completely borked your installation, of multiple mods. See all those occurrences of "Missing Master" or "Delinquent Master"? Well each one indicates a problem, just as it says. Missing Master, means, well, you're missing a master file. Delinquent Master means you have an improper Load Order. i.e. You're loading the Master after the Slave. I suggest you start over, and follow the documentation for each mod ensuring that you have all necessary mods installed, and they are installed completely and properly. For starters you could fix 15 of those Delinquent Masters by simply loading Oblivion.esm first, as it must always load first. This can cause immediate crashes upon load. As for Missing Masters, such as the following... 8C Side's Sailing Ships (BloodyMess).esp ----> MISSING MASTER: A_Bloody_Mess.esm 91 TheElderCouncil.esp ----> MISSING MASTER: CyrodiilUpgradeResourcePack.esm That means you don't have those files installed, and they are required for other mods to work. This will cause crashes immediately. You claim to have ran BOSS but that LO is clearly not the work of BOSS. You either have Lock Times turned ON in Wrye Bash (should be OFF) or BOSS is not properly executing due to file limitations such as permissions problems related to UAC, part of Windows Vista/Windows 7 security. Again, my best advice is to start over from scratch. This time around you need to be patient and actually read the documentation for each and every mod to avoid these type of issues. Good luck.
  13. Since you're using the support plugin, did you actually enable the shaders via the Support Plugin?
  14. Or you could just take the time to learn BAIN, Wrye Bash's installer, and then it doesn't matter when you install any mod, since you have total control over your Installation Order. BAIN shows you file overlaps and allows you to adjust your Installation Order, much like a Load Order, as needed. For example,... Oops! I forgot to install the Unofficial Patch but now I have over 300 mods installed, what to do?! No worries, simply put the Unofficial Patch at the beginning of your Installation Order and click install, you're done, and nothing from later ordered mods were overwritten. Do you want the Unofficial Patch to overwrite those 300 mods? (In reality no, but for example read on) No problem, move it to last in your Installation Order and click install, now it has overwrote all previous packages. If this same scenario happened with an OMOD installation you're basically screwed and would have to rework your entire installation, due to limitations of OBMM. BAIN truly is the best method of installation and I'll never understand why people refuse to adopt it. Take the time to learn BAIN if you want total control of your installation and the ability to add any mod at any time and not worry about unwanted overwrites, since you have options to control these overlapping files. 15. You'll never be done modding Oblivion, it's addictive and the amount of mods are near endless. Oblivion is so much more than just the main quest, trust me you're not missing anything by beating the main quest first without ever modding Oblivion. Out of the hundreds, hell thousands, of hours of gameplay Oblivion offers the main quest is only a very small piece of the pie. You can beat the main quest in around 15 hours if you go straight through it, but that does not in anyway mean Oblivion is back on the shelf in 15 hours. I've been playing it for years and there is still new content I haven't touched, thanks to this wonderful modding community. Oh, and yes you're right the STEAM sell was ridiculously awesome, like most all of their sales. I gained around 30 games for less than one Ben Franklin.
