Unfortunately I don't have an answer to your post, but I want to bump this thread because I'm experiencing the SAME exact problem and I can't figure it out either. I'm completely certain it's not a codec problem, and have also tried deleting/reinstalling the game but to no avail. I thought there were supposed to be 2 versions of the audio files (one for the radios in-game and the other for pipboy), but I can't remember why I'm thinking that, so it doesn't help much. I wanted to come back to this game for a fresh start though and this is preventing me from playing it.. funny part is, I'll get sick of hearing those same songs a million times anyway.. I just want it to be working properly. In summary: BUMP, and PLEASE help :)
