I've been looking through the mods and the forum and haven't seen an answer so I thought I'd ask. Has anyone made a mod, or attempted to make a mod which forces VATS to use the ammo loaded in the gun as opposed to always using generic ammo?
I've noticed this frequently when stealth killing NCR Veteran Rangers. Outside of VATS, the gun kills them in one shot if I use bench-made or AP ammo but leaves them at 2 bars health with generic ammo, but VATS always leaves them with 2 bars of ammo regardless of what's loaded in the gun.
Is there a Tweak I'm unaware of, or has this bug/feature never been fixed?
