  1. AmbientLightingIntensity made things too bright around fires and other ambient light sources imo. I'm finding using DirectLightingIntensityNight looks nice and for someone like me with extremely good night vision irl, setting it up to at least 4.00 was far more realistic than the default setting of 1.00. Now if I could just figure out how to get these enb effects in my screen shots. Using the insert key doesn't work for me for whatever reason, but I'm probably just missing a setting since I just installed my first ENB tonight. And thanks for the tip about EnableAdaption, that's awesome. :)
  2. Wish I could offer more help, I'm just now installing mods for Skyrim and all my real experience is with Oblivion. I have ECE installed also and made a character from the YgNord race that I really like (that's what actually got me looking at this thread in hopes to find someone talking about the skeleton issue for that race, lol). It was pretty easy to make, but the race looks quite anime style though, so that may not be what you're looking for as an end result?
  3. Without actually watching exactly what steps you take as you create a character, it's hard to say; but I'd suggest maybe making changes slower (one at a time) and checking them as you go from both the front And sides before changing the next thing. Often something that looks good from the front can look bad or even terrible from the side! Also, I tend to start with some sliders from an angle (partially front and side) and remember that any changes you make to one part of the face will affect how the others appear, so balance things as you go. Hope that helps. :)
  4. I'll ask this here because I don't want to start a new thread for what's probably a very simple answer: I have ECE installed and maximum skeleton set to be used by it, but ygNord uses a .nif skeleton. So I want to change that of course, but the ygNord race isn't showing in the creation kits race list for some reason. The race is installed and working properly otherwise (and I do have ECE set as active in CK). Is the ygNord race named something else in the CK maybe? (As a side note; when I tried using a tbbp mod with ygNord it of course crashed the game, that's what alerted me to the skeleton issue. But, when I used task manager, it showed ygNord running as it's OWN program, lol. Anyone have some idea why that would happen?) @iHateSirim, did you use the prompts when installing XPS for it to work with ECE?
  5. Very inspiring poem, thank you for sharing this :D
  6. I'd try omeletted's advice, or even something as simple as trying out a different monitor. It doesn't sound like your game is the issue. Good Luck :)
