I am well aware of being able to hide the markers. And once you hide them you have no way of knowing how many undiscovered locations remain. Unless you turn the markers back on, which spoils their location. Reading comprehension, please. Nevermind. I'm an idiot.

I don't suppose anyone has made or would be willing to make a mod that shows you how many undiscovered points of interest there are in each area without revealing their exact locations? This way players would know if they have found everything on the map without having their hands held or their joy of discovery spoiled.
