I apologize if this has already been addressed-- I was surprised that I could not locate this topic fairly easily. Whenever I reload any .357 revolver (including "Lucky"), my game is dead. I can no longer look down the sights, fire, access menus, or do anything but exit. I have a similar problem with the cowboy repeater (using, of course, the same ammunition). Before figuring out that it was a problem, I found that I could reload the cowboy repeater 0-2 times before I had a similar problem, being able to look around until I wanted to exit and start playing, again. I already eliminated Bethesda's list of usual suspects-- my computer meets the specs, my drivers are current, I installed without even my anti-virus program running; I've allowed Steam to patch my game, but I play offline with my anti-virus and all other programs turned off. Bethesda's position (when I talk to tech support) is that there has never been a problem with .357's; I may have more trouble than most, but I know that others have had problems. Alternatively, they say that, if there ever was a problem, it would have been fixed in the latest patch. I gave it a shot, but my .357's still lock up my game as soon as I reload one of them. Can anyone please shed some light on this for me? Am I (as Bethesda would seemingly have me believe) unique in having this problem? If not, is there a fix? If not, are there enough similarly situated players to make it worth Bethesda's while to patch it, or might some modder do it? I really wish that I could use .357 caliber weapons-- they represent a not insignificant percentage of the limited number of weapons in this game.
