You'll need this http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3663/? to convert back and forth from xwm files contained in the compressed files in the Fallout 4 Data directory.

Forbid Mods on Console Platforms?
MartinPurvis replied to DetCord12B's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
I'm totally in support of allowing mods for console platforms, the fail safe option of allowing a flag to deny support for mods from the mod authors point of view is valid though. Some mods just will not work without a keyboard and mouse configuration, I wonder if there will be something built in to the console versions that will allow you to disable all plugins before launching the game. Would be handy in the case of a huge conflict. -

LOD for moving object?
MartinPurvis replied to jcdenton2012's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
Hi jcdenton2012, I myself haven't been able to create movable LOD but it's something I've searched for in the past. I have however seen this mod for skyrim which is the only place I've seen movable LOD files, send the author a PM maybe. Just thinking out loud, you could open the _lod.nif files for the above mod in nifskope and compare with yours. Then again, it might be something Skyrim is only able to do. -
I am so excited for this :3

Just an update for anyone that doesn't know, there is a petition on change.org to get rid of this. 50k signatures so far. -

Terrible thing to happen to the community, let's hope modders won't pack up and take off mods from here. -

I agree, people occasionally stumble on to fixes on the forums when they have an issue. -

Not sure in that case -
Modded weapon black texure
MartinPurvis replied to Audioviper's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
That might be the problem, I'm pretty sure the & is classed as a special character, could be wrong but try and change the folder name to wmanda and the texture path to see if it makes any difference. -

MartinPurvis replied to Audioviper's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
Could you post the a screeny of a texture path for the gun in nifskope "BSShaderPPLightingProperty" http://s1.postimg.org/q2mlxk4yn/nifskope.jpg and the location it's leading to in windows explorer? -
just short question regarding fo3/fnv
MartinPurvis replied to tawatabak's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
I agree with NellSpeed, go on the fallout wikia > Fallout 3 > Factions > Raiders. All of the named npcs are listed on the right... A lot simpler than going through the GECK. -

Thanks DeeVee :)))

Lol. The workaround to get the lip files by owning a copy of oblivion takes way longer. My advice is to just buy Skyrim, it is dirt cheap now anyway. I'm pretty sure that it's illegal to publicly host the actual processing folder required for creating lip files anyway as it is still technically part of Skyrims Assets.

Radio Stations Play Songs Twice
MartinPurvis replied to Mlucci4036's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
I remember having that problem, it doesn't look like there's anything wrong with your setup. What worked for me was making them run based on variables such as in the quest for Radio New Vegas. -
Modders resource halp pls.

Don't be so hard on yourself Josh, it comes when it comes.
