  1. In some fighting games, if you and an opponent launch an attack at the exact same time, the attacks cancel out. Would someone be able to make a plugin that makes it so, if you and your opponent attack at about the same time, the game treats it as if you blocked each others attacks? Thanks in advance.
  2. yeah in Riften the guards should just watch unless you are a member of the thieves guild. And in Windhelm they would only help you if you were a Nord.
  3. I've looked all over the nexus for a mod like this, and have come up empty handed. Can someone please make a mod that occasionally spawns NPCs like highwaymen in cities at night? AKA they walk up to you, and demand you give them money and attack you if you don't? It never made any sense that everyone goes on and on about how dangerous cities like Riften and Markarth are at night, yet you can wander around alone at 2 AM with no worries whatsoever about getting a knife through your face or an arrow in your eye socket. And if possible, this is just a bonus request (I'd be more than happy if just the above was done) the mod could have hired thugs hunt you down if you kill the robbers or refuse to pay, so paying them will actually be necessary for lower level characters unless they want to deal with more trouble down the line. Alright, Ill give that a shot and post my results, Part of the cause of this was my use of ModManager, which was so convenient I never really stopped to consider the implications of having to manage two different load orders. the one that I play with (mod manger) and the one all Skyrim utilities think i'm using.
  5. I really dont know what to say. The only threads I can find on this issue date all the way back to Oblivion. No matter how many times I overwrite my load order with BOSS output, Wyre Bash vomits out this error, claiming that "Plugins cannot be loaded before masters" Originally it would then freeze. I looked at my load order and saw for some incomprehensible reason that the unnoficial patches were wedging themselves between hearhfires and dragonborn, so I temporarily deleted them. now Wyre bash gets the same error, but crashes instead of freezing. I have no idea where to go from here, and I can't find any answers on google. I completely wiped my base load order, then replaced it with a boss generated load order, then replaced it with my ModManager load order, but nothing at all seems to work. Please help.
  6. The yellow grass around Whiterun looks dead to me. And I dont mean the grass objects, i mean the ground texture itself. Does a green retexture of that grass exist? If it doesn't, can some kind soul make it? Thanks in advance.
  7. A clean install means I can actually see where I'm going, but the sky still retains the stupid amount of bloom. I really don't know how to fix this.
  8. I was having an issue with LOD as well, so I just decided to do a completely new install of Skyrim. It should fix both the LOD issue and the bloom overload, and I'll get back to you guys with the results. And yes, I used the Skyrim launcher, but it would only work if I completely removed my ENB (it would crash otherwise) and the issue just came back when the ENB was re-installed.
  9. It only shows up with ENBs on, but it seems as if every single other ENB I try has this same issue, as if it's the sun itself causing the bloom overload. One of the ENBs had me install realistic lighting, and when it's enabled the bloom goes away (though things are still far too yellow) so I'm guessing that Realistic Lighting Patcher changed something in the core game it shouldn't have. I'm not sure how to undo realistic lighting patcher, does anyone know the process?
  10. I'm not sure what caused it, but cities and buildings no longer appear on my LOD. For example, Whiterun, which should be visible as far as bleak falls barrow, is now completely invisible until I am within a half mile of it. I have tried several fixes, including manually setting my Ugrids and Ugrids Exterior Buffer in my Skyrim.ini file to 7 and , and extracting the LOD files from Skyrim - Meshes.bsa and Skyrim - Textures.bsa. But nothing seems to be working. I will post my SkyrimPrefs.ini and Skyrim.ini files below.
  11. I was fooling around with other ENBS, since I had been using "Grim and Somber ENB" for quite some time. (Link here incase that helps http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50501/?) That was apparently a really bad move. For reference, heres what my game looked like before I messed with the ENB. This is what Grim and Somber used to look like. http://i59.tinypic.com/33bodpt.jpg And here it is now, after I came crawling back. http://i61.tinypic.com/2ebg1sm.jpg The bloom is physically painful, and there is a hideous yellow tint on everything only during the day hours ( I suspect one of the ENB files might have messed with the sun lighting, but I dont know how I can undo that) I have tried to completely re-install via first removing the enb with this tool http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/7804/? (ENB FXAA SweetFX Manager Remover) and then reinstalling Grim and Somber, but the eye searing bloom and yellow tint persists. Does anyone have any idea what's going on here, or how to stop it? My load order is managed via Mod Manager, I've included only a partial load order here, as it would simply take too long to list every single mod I have. These are the mods that change the lighting, weather, or such. But I dont know how to restore sunlight to it's old values... Also, when all ENBs are removed, the base game looks really washed out and too dim during the daytime. I'm not sure if thats just because I'm used to ENBs, or if this issue can be felt without ENBs.
  12. I just attempted to add them myself by introducing them to the leveled list for bandit bows, but instead of the flintlock rifles the npcs all spawn with crossbows instead. I'm not really sure why or where to go from here.
  13. The creator of project flintlock quit modding right before he added the feature I was looking forward to the most; integration of the new weapons into the leveled list. I was watching a combat overhaul mod video, and the person filming had certain bandits armed with the rifles from project flintlock, so this is certaintly possible. If a module exists that adds the rifles to the leveled lists of bandits, I would really appreaciate it if someone could link me to it. If no such module exists, I would really appreaciate it if someone with time and modding experience could make it. I know i'm not the only one who wants this as a mod. Thanks in advance.   14. Ive searched and been unable to find any stray .FX files. Does anyone have any idea what could possibly be causing this? Maybe its a screen effect thats being overlayed over the normal game? (Like the green tint from that college of winterhold quest) Is there a console command to clear all screen effects?
  15. I deleted every ENB file and it persists. It transcends ENB because when I tried swapping ENBs before removing them alltogether, the red tint was still there and actually got stronger to the point blue sky became purple (it was one of those color booster ENBs).
  16. I only found one .ini and deleted it. Windows search does not find anything when I search for .ini files (and Data is index, so I dont think its windows search skipping over it). Redish tint still is there D:
  17. I have disabled everything in my load list except for official Bethesda content (DLCs, main skyrim file) and this glitch still persists. I noticed it about a week ago; theres this horrible red discolouration over everything. At first it was subtle, but once I noticed it I couldnt unsee it and it began to drive me crazy. I thought it was my ENB, so I swapped ENB's and nothing changed. Then I tried disabling and deleting all ENB's and the red is still there. Ive reset pretty much all my .INI files, and it still persists. player.dispelallspells did nothing. Its driving me insane. Is it dawngaurd related somehow? Im not even a vampire, nor am I anywhere near the part where the sun gets messed with by the vampires... Heres a screenshot: http://i42.tinypic.com/731p2e.png For reference, before this glitch started that snow was grayish-blueish-white. Does anyone know if theres a console code that cleans off all screen effects?
