Hi there guys. First time I've actually posted here so I hope it's in the right place etc. I've been modding for years and have yet to come across the perfect player home/castle/hold that is truly 100% customiseable. I love the ideas which were implemented in the following two mods "Become King of Riverhelm and Pirates of Skyrim", but it's still not 100% what I have in mind. I am a huge follower hoarder and the sad thing about most of the really good looking followers, they are just simple "Follow me" companions with no story or real "jenesequa" effect such as followers like Inigo, M'rissi and Sofia. Thus a lot of my mods are installed with the purpose of providing them with a "place".. or so to speak. Although my utmost favorite of all player home related mods I've installed in the past is "Become King of Riverhelm", the mod itself is very buggy and glitchy and makes my game super unstable. Thus with great sadness I was forced to disable it. So mainly this isn't a request, but more of a "has anyone come across" a mod that has the following features. - Basically being a huge player home/hold/castle (like the mods "Riverhelm, Utgard"). - Giving you some title like Jarl/Lord/King etc. - Allowing you to place custom NPCs of your choice, internal to the mod or external custom followers into key positions like say: Court Wizard, Steward, Guards Captain, Personal Bodyguard(s), Court Alchemist, Hunters in your hold, appointment of Thanes etc. etc. (This idea is remotely based on the mod "Pirates of Skyrim", where you are able to recruit your own crew and assign some of them to special positions like "First mate" and "Eagles nest archer". Although it is limited in some regard as you can't appoint a NPC as the ship wizard,alchemist and blacksmith if they aren't already internally flagged as such in their faction settings. - Able to change/assign a banner for your hold. - Able to change or set custom armor of your city/hold guard outfits. - Able to assign guards to specific guard locations or duties. - I know this next one would probably be impossible or outlandish, but maybe even a reputation or diplomacy system with other holds. Some time ago I know there was a WIP mod that had the idea of you buying some land somewhere in the vale (near Riften area) and gradually build up what would come close as a custom Hold with you as it's Jarl. I have been looking for the mod for a couple of months now and haven't found any trail of it, so I guess it was scratched. I can't remember the name of the mod. All I know is that you start it off by talking to some drunk guy in the Solitude Inn. Anyway, if anyone knows of something that resembles this or that may even be better than this kind of mod, I'd really appreciate the link. Even if it is multiple mods that could be combined for a similar experience. <3

2 years later and still no mod to be found.. none worth mentioning at least. I'm going to look for a preset as well now. You can transform the preset into a follower using the "Familiar faces" mod.

Thanks SilverWolfPredator, disabling RiverHelm and BecomeKingOfRiverhelm in my load order fixed this. I really don't want to lose it, but I've had other minor incidents that was fixed as well when I disabled it, this time I'm leaving it off. Will just have to look for another place to stash all my companions :( Regards

mainly the ctd's happen when something is loading...for example when I go into or out of a building, fast travel to a location etc...it tends to happen when I have 2-4 companions with me, but sometimes happens when I only have lydia with me aswel. Very rarely in combat. Also i get alot of ctd's when i roam Skyrim outdoors, those are completely random though...but I guess it must be because something is loading. I used NMM to install everything I have, thus I doubt i screwed up something about the data files. I did not install any patches for the body mods, since none of them really indicated that I had to do anythign of the sort. Also when you mean compatibility between followers, is there a mod to make followers compatible with each other(this I don't know anything of). Thanks for the fast feedback :)

Hi there, I'm getting random crashes..I've tried everything to pin point the source, but can not find it. I do use mods thought, and it is definately something to do with them, since my game worked perfectly before I installed any mods. I don't use alot of mods though so it may be that one of them clash. Can someone with alot of experience maybe just go over these mods and check if they see something fishy please. Now I've also thought that it may be only my memory or something running out, since I've read about this somewhere, but since I'm very new to modding Id like someone with experience to give me his/her input please. My system consists of : Windows 7 32 bit premium 4GB (3.25GB avaiable) DDR2 Core 2 Quad 2.4ghz Q6600 CPU ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series My skyrim is also fully patched till 1.9.32.0 . I'm also running all the DLC for compatibility for those mods that only work on some of the DLC (Heartfire, Dragonborn, Dawnguard). Please Advise :)
