Wow...Not sure how to respond to this article :( Seems they are angry cause there is no gay love action going on? What I think is going on is they dont like the movie cause they dont want to see straight relationships..

lol, I totally 'get it' :P I was just suggesting ways to fix it etc.. I played a shammy in WoW for some time, chain lighting was my #2 ability :O lol

Hello :) STO is finally up! It is unique in many ways.. You can fly around in a starship or run around in FPS style. The controls are a bit confusing at first, so many options etc :P The game seems fun, I did get kinda stuck right now while playing but owell lol. The release is coming soon as we are finishing the beta testing. Some sites still have beta keys if you wish to join the fun! hurry tho, they goin fast.. Hope to see some of yall ingame!

:ohmy: Nice find! This is tricky. The bolt stopping if death occurs can be viewed as both correct or bugged :P Sure, one can say that the bolt should continue regardless of death but then again if there is death then the player 'shouldnt' be allowed to use the corpse as a means to attack other creatures. For example, if the script is changed so the bolt continues and/or 'affects' dead creatures then this could lead to 'hacks' of sorts. Being able to target a dead body then have it chain is not how it should work, but then again how should it work?? lol Seems like WoW had a similiar issue with this.., trying to recall exactly what came of it..
Hmm.. could there be a script that can do a 'life check' of sorts? Basically, the script would determine if the creature is alive and/or near death.. if so, the bolt will 'search' for another target (closest in range etc..) Or, it could be made to where the bolt does not go from 'a to b to c to d..' but instead it would be several 'individual' bolts that leave the caster into all 3 targets at once. Im no scripter, but to me it seems that the bolt needs an 'AI' of its own, one that constently searches for new targets until x amount of targets have been hit or chained from..
This should be interesting to follow and watch develop :P lol

What a bunch of DBs they are.. Since I 'refuse' to post my key on the official site, it seems they have removed or blocked my access the the 'general area' where one can post w/o a game etc.. I refuse to post ANY key to ANY site as I feel it violates my rights in ways and can lead to lost keys or rights usage etc.. Nonetheless, they have cut me off. What a joke IMO :confused:

EDIT: ok, so I logged out to see if my thread was still there. Its there and I can view the Gen area ONLY if logged out.. lol
EDIT#2: ok, now this is strange. I logged out, then relogged while I was in the thread. It allowed me to log in and all seemed fine. I could go from forum area to area and back to my thread np.. BUT if I close Explorer then reopen it and go to the thread it shuts me out again :/ Any idea whats goin on? Could there be an error with my Explorer? Or virus maybe? ima scan now to be safe.

hmm, well, yes it is a bit 'user-unfriendly' but remember that it is also more complex in the amount of things it can do compared to other editors. It will take a bit to learn, patience is required! lol
I mean, justthe Level-Editor... you need to build a level and then export it to continue build on it? What if I wanna change things
later in level-design
One editor is to build the static features, such as terrain, vege, water, etc. You then take that level, turn it into an 'area' then add all the non-static goodies such as partical effects, area transitions, doorways, etc etc.
And yes, there is a mod that adds nearly 4 hours of gameplay, can be found on official forums I believe (forgot the name :P)

Heh, Ive heard reports where it has been called 'racist' and just now had seen a report where the vatican is calling it 'nature worship' and 'evil' roflmao... Wonder what Harry Reid will call it?

hmm, sounds like a mod might have corrupted the original game install :( Im not totally sure but its worth checking into. The game and toolset both are bugged BAD and it seems Bioware cares not to correct them BUT they can however make an expansion :/ Hopefully they will correct these issues soon.

hmm, well.. you see, it will all start several months before the date. We will see more and more radicals who believe the end is near. We will also see cults and such raising up preaching the end. All of those who believe might/will infact cause the 'end' by causing panic, fear, corruption around the world. We, as humans, do control the outcome of the event. If there is widespread panic, then yes there will be strange things abrew on 12/21/12..
However.. If im not mistaken, there will be a rare planetary alignment on that date, as well as being the winter solstice. Many theorize that there will/could be a polar shift.. Then we have the Mayan calendar, which is more accurate then todays modern calendars. They point to that date as a 'new beginning' rather then an 'ending'. Perhaps they knew something? Perhaps they knew about polar shifts?
Nonetheless, something WILL happen. What exactly that is nobody knows. Do I think the world will crumble to pieces? I dont. Do I think there will be a 'new beginning' of some sorts? I do. Only time will tell.. speaking of which, 1074 days left, make them count!

For gaming, make sure the monitor has a fast 'response time'.. usually around 10ms or so.

Ive used this name 'bridgepiece' for some time now.. I also use the name 'Phelissa' for online games which ive used for a long time also.. Ive seen phelissa used in WoW, not sure if it was before/after I made mines but lol. Dont think Ive ever seen another bridgepiece tho :)

hmm, well, I'd have to say Myst. I dont think any other game has sold more soundtrack albums then Myst, could be wrong but willing to bet Im right :ohmy: lol

Well, I havent seen any tuts that go from A-Z in one shot.. There are however tuts that cover every major area of the toolset. Unfortunately, they dont say in which 'order' these steps should be done. It seems like there was a thread on the official forums where someone was going to establish a 'workflow' order for the toolset. This is needed badly IMO, esp. for us noobs :P lol I havent seen any updates to the thread but also havent check in a few days or so.. I'll check and see if anything is updated and/or post the linky :)

Well, once I saw the type of graphics in use, I turned away :/ Dont care much for that style myself but.. The game itself looks cool, a mix of FPS and RPG is different.. Other then that, its just another shooter IMO..

Not sure if the file structure matters, any completed mod is wrapped up into a DAZIP anyways.. As for the naming convention, there is a 'tutorial' on the wiki that runs down Bioware's naming system..

You have how much system memory? Is the map large, like 128x128 or higher? Which file are you opening?

Ya, lots of bugs in this game and it does not seem that Bioware cares to fix them..I also had a bug and posted on official forums... To this day, none have replied seriously and none from Bioware have replied either :( I had to 'resolve' my own issue, in my case I have to have the game installed on a XP machine (then on my main machine-Win7) just so I can render light maps :/ They CAN however spend time to make an expansion pack :/ I once had faith in Bioware but after this game I doubt I will purchase anything made by them in the future..
I do hope you get the issue worked out tho.. I assume you searched thru the official forums for solutions?

Hmm, well, this is a tough desicion :blink: Overall, Id have to say Halo/World of Warcraft as the top 2/leaders in their respective categories.
Here is my 'top 5' -
1. Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 (ZOMGWTF!?!)
2. World of Warcraft
3. Halo (tho I never played it :/)
4. TES:O
5. Baldurs Gate series

I'd have to vote for Avatar. I wasnt to impressed with D9 and actually left early :blink: I have not seen Avatar in 3D but hear it rocks.
Avatar was 'refreshing'. Many of the ideas used in the movie were new, creative, exceptional. The forest area was my favorite, esp. the areas of the ground that would lite up when walked upon. The Sacred trees were also well designed/played out. The bond they could make with the creatures was also exciting to see.. The movie is well written and directed and IMO, should win many awards if it hasnt already. Im sure there will be another movie as they had ended this one off perfectly setup to blend into the next.

Hello and happy new years!! Looks like yet another year has come and gone.., been to many for me but.. :wallbash: Anyways, what do you think will happen in 2010? Will California finally fall into the Pacific? Will there be a major scientific breakthru of some type? Will the little grey men finally visit us and say hello? What do you think?? post it up!!
My Prediction - there will be major breakthrus in the scientific realm(s) thru the use of the 'Collider' machine. We (humans) will also 'discover' that there is other life (multi-cell creatures/intelligence etc..) within the universe. And as we near to '12/21/12' date, we will see more activity in the cult sectors and also terrorism :verymad:
PS - plz DO NOT post predictions based on 'political assassination(s)'.. the feds WILL harrass the site, which we dont want of course :whistling:
