I think New York would be perfect. -Not because I 'like' either New York, nor the US of A in particular, but it would make sense game-wise. Manhattan is an island, that means geographically it would be easy to create natural borders without the use of invicible walls, -that we all hate. Big city. East Coast. Far enough away from Canada, which somehow has been totally(?) obliterated. close enough to Waa-shing-toon D.C. -Easy to build on the previous lore. Comercialism/Economically wise to, because of using old lore, doesn't really need to create new, -just build on old stuff. New Vegas dissapoint me here. Canonically the whole world has gone *PooF*, but somehow the area of New Vegas is somehow almost unharmed? Yeah, right. Siberia and Sahara nonexistant, but good old Nevada still going strong? That's cheap. The franchise of Fallout suffer from extrodinaire volatility. Either a version is supergood, or/and the next goes superbad. Let's hope FO4 won't repeat the procedure, because then we might never ever experience FO5/6. Imho, the owners of the franchise should seriously start making some damagecontrol and get the lore cleaned up. Let's start with figuring out if the bombs recently dropped or if it was 200 years ago. Why did they even start using dates? Amateurs. Anyone ever creating a website knows how inane it is to use dating. ref( instead of saying 'I am 36 years old', one should say 'I was born in ´74'. -That way one doesn't need to update the whole site every year. Fallout 4 have this opportunity. the community and fans are still out there. we're willing to ignore early trials and errors, but if Fo4 gets the same G** D***** bugs over again... ...I think I know what will happen to any followups...
