  1. I'd have to say 106 as well. The white noise is an old idea, not really anything new, and the Garys just made me smile. I went in with a chinese sword, just because I never found many good opportunities to use it otherwise, and it's fun in there.
  2. The unofficial patch changed nothing, and the Large Address enabler shouldn't make any difference, as I'm running way under a 2 gig limit. Source folder is referring to the folder that holds the folder. Easiest way to tell (At least for me) is to right click on a file once you pull it up via searching, and hit show enclosing/source folder. So like, the data folder, when opened this way, would take you to the Fallout 3 main folder, the folder the file you tried to open is inside of. I think i found it and fixed it though, so don't worry about it. I've been looking around, and the consensus on the crashing that I've found on other forums (though I tend to distrust it, since it's all from forums like Gamespot and the like, not even a Bethesda forum) is that the crashing I'm coming up with is yet another version of the multiple CTD problems the PC version of FO3 has on most computers. General response was something along the lines of "Get used to it, it happens to everyone." Since I've received very little response along those lines here, I'm inclined to question that, but at the moment, I have no other ideas.
  3. I was assuming I could use the FOMM outside of the game itself. I'm not using a pirated copy, but parallels kills my computer, so I use it as little as possible. I was just looking for a way to get some of my mods working right, so I could get the right files, not to run the game through mac.
  4. What if none of the mods show up in the right hand window, even if I go in and load them specifically?
  5. Is there any possibility I could open it and convert it, or something? I have a laptop I could do that on, if possible, but I really dislike having OBMM hooked up to my game. I like as much control over modified files as I can get, for safety's sake.
  6. Is there any way to open/utilize an .omod file without OBMM? I'm not a fan of it, and I want to avoid using it if possible, but several of the mods I've been looking at (body replacers, for the most part) are only available in an ,omod format, for one reason or another. What I'm getting at is whether or not I can use another archive utility to open them up and pull out the files, or will that mess the data up. I've looked around a bit, but the only info I've found on the subject was about people having issues with OBMM running mods and such things, nothing on possible work-arounds.
  7. Here is the 20th/19th Century. I know it contains some of the 21st Century, but I'm not sure what happened to the 21st.
  8. Like the topic says, I'm wondering if there is any way to run the Mod manager on a Mac. The only versions I can find are .exe, which don't work on a mac, but I've been told some of the mod problems I have might be fixed if I can get FOMM running.
  9. If you could tell me what the source folder for yours is, I'd appreciate it, since I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to edit that. And I've tried waiting, still doesn't show up. And even if I assume that I only need one set of files, no sets are working, so which ones I need to get which effect is more or less moot. Update: I have the body mod working, and presumably an armor set, but now I crash randomly, with no set cause, timing, or reason. I was having the exact same problem when I wasn't modding, so the mods aren't causing it. Any ideas on how to fix? Right before it happens, the game lags a small bit, for no apparent reason (though the visuals are fine, aside from lagging), then an error message pops up, with the game still active, and says that the game has crashed, with force quitting the only solution at that point. I'm starting to think I should've titled this thread "My Myriad of Problems"
  10. That still leaves the question of how I'm supposed to update the C-Cup to the Mk3 version, which is specifically meant to fix bugs, and improve compatibility. It says I have to have the original C-Cup installed, but overwrites said file completely when I try and insert it. I do indeed have the GOTY edition, have run archiveinvalidated (Well, ran their manual version, since that's another PC only application), and the compatibility isn't even the issue. The items don't even show up at the vendor location they're supposed to, even though I have the files input, both the .esp file and the mesh/texture folders. The only problem I can think of that would apply to both is that I can't for the life of me find the Fallout3.ini file. I've located Fallout3_default.ini, which is supposed to be in the same folder, but can't find the main file. Any suggestions in that would be helpful as well. Update: Tried that, and I can't get the Nude Patch v5 to load. Everything is in it's proper location, to my knowledge, and intact. The only files I put in were the v5 ones as well. And the effects are the same after I insert the C-Cup files as well. Still no change in a game where it should be visible.
  11. First off, I can't run FOMM. That's a windows only app, I'm on Mac OS X. Otherwise I would, because it would make this much easier. And to clarify, I'll explain how I got to where I did. I searched for the file on google, because for one reason or another, I couldn't find it on the FO3Nexus. This brought up the FilePlanet link, here. I downloaded that, and when I unzipped it, there were 9 files inside: Babe A-cup, Babe C-cup, Babe D-cup, Babe Mk3 C-cup, Babe Nude Pics, Babe softer ribcage, babe underwear, mk3 readme, and nude V5. inside every one of those sub-folders is it's own set of mesh and texture folders, and all of them have the same instructions, to copy and paste into the data folder. The problem is, the contents of every one of those folders, as well as the names, are the same. Any attempt to put them into the new folder in my Data folder results in the "There is already a file of this type under that name" error, and it asks to replace or stop. Now, the only thing I can think of is that they aren't intended to be used together, but only one at a time, but if so, which ones contain which ones? because from what I've found, any of the BABE body models are either underwear or nude, but if that's the case, I have two specifically labeled that, and 6 that are completely ambiguous in exactly what they include (in terms of underwear/naked/normal). On top of that, the readme file located both in the main folder, and the Mk3 C-Cup specific folder say that I MUST have the Original BABE body installed, and then install the Mk3 on top of that, but the Mk3 files want to replace the originals if I try to add them in. Hopefully this clarifies what I have and haven't done. At the moment, I have the entire folder removed and stored elsewhere on my computer, both as a back-up and as a source of new copied files if I need them, so it shouldn't have any impact on the game as it is. edit: Now, running only the CamonPack by Cornflower, my screen gets all sorts of messed up, it will flash between game and black screen, and sometimes just pixelate everything out immensely (Only wording I can think of on that. It's like it took on pixel atrandowm off screen and expanded it beyond all belief, then did the same with others until the screen was full.) Any ideas on a fix for that? My graphics card is more then up to the game, and my memory is fine.
  12. Okay, so my problem is more of a question, really. I'm on OS X, trying to install the mod, but when I downloaded it, I got about 8 different files, and the large majority of them seem to want to overwrite the data from the others. Now, my question is this, I suppose. Am I doing it wrong? I was under the impression (from what I've read about how to install the files, both in the file's readmes and online) that I should copy/paste the mesh and texture contents into those respective folders in my Data folder. But when I do that, it wants to overwrite the files from the other part of the download in order to complete the transfer, and my only other option is to cancel the transfer. Just for reference, the only ones I'm really trying to insert are the C-Cup (orig and Mk 3), the ribcage, and the underwear. And yes, in case it matters, this is my first time trying to mod any game. I'm more of a console gamer, typically.
