  1. @Novem99 It's always good to see fellow Gemmell fans. Druss the Legend is a great character, with another great weapon. My name TannakaObi is a play on my favorite Gemmel character Tenaka Khan and also Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars. Have you read the Rigante series? Another good set of books by Gemmell.
  2. I didn't even know there was a requests board. Here is a description: Waylander's crossbow was his signature weapon. Specially made to his exacting requirements and standards in the land of Ventria, the bow was small, pistol-gripped and double-winged, allowing two bolts to be fired in quick succession. Reloads were kept in a small quiver attached to one side of Waylander's belt; the crossbow itself was hung on the other side when not in use. Effective up to a range of twenty feet, Waylander was a master of the weapon, able to place a bolt almost exactly where he wished with each pull of the trigger. Here is a picture: http://www.legendreaders.com/components/com_joomgallery/img_originals/david_gemmell_1/david_gemmell_fan_art_3/dorian_navarre_46/waylanders_crossbow_20090612_1064278801.jpg I should add that in all the descriptions I remember it is all black, unlike this image, which I believe was made by a fan. Also, the wings clip back when it is not in use. I don't know if this is even possible, I have never seen a crossbow that can fire twice or change shape. Or even this small! I always imagined it to have double wings on the same bar top and bottom. I'll leave the fine detail to any would be modder for this project. I wish I had the talent to do it myself. It's an iconic weapon in a series of books written by David Gemmell. If you enjoy heroic fantasy novels and have not already read these books then I recommend you do so.
  3. Having gone through this myself over the last couple of weeks I would suggest you take a look at some of these videos on the following link: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbjrT3LrSq0LZWarH6llxUB3wrn0c9pr5 I don't use any ENB's myself, however many of the best mods are alongside them in the video descriptions. After a few videos you get a good feel for what they offer. I spent four days adding and removing mods in a trial and error type thing. I'm really happy with my set up now. Game changing. Also if you take a look at 'most downloaded' that gives you a good idea for what works.
