No, I did not but thank you. I was looking specifically for an answer to where I can see the data file check box option, as I don't see them, even when launching via NMM. By any chance can you tell me where the Data file location is where I find the checkbox? I thought they showed up at start of game when I launched via NMM.

Where can a newb go to watch or read a specific play by play walkthru on how to use mods in skyrim? I have started Skyrim SE and I can not find the location that displays data files to "check." I need a basic tutorial to watch. I can not remember how I used them b4. Thanks a lot. Max

Hi, First off, I am a noob to mod "use" but have now successfully used/installed about 20 mods thanks to your great Nexus Mod Manager! My problem now is that I wanted to use several great mods (especially the SKY UI) but as you surely know, I must first install the Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) and herein lies my problem. I looked at the great video that GOPHER made (scared me by being so complicated) but then I see in the reply chat that that video is somehow no longer relevant, though no one says why. I considered trying the SKSE installer version but in Gopher's video he states that the "installer" is not a good idea. I tried looking for a way to install SKSE via the NMM but I did not see any file show up when I just searched for the SKSE file itself. Could you PLEASE let me know the safest and (easiest :wink: ) way I can install the SKSE file? I am afraid I may "break" skyrim if I do this wrong (a likely outcome on my own). I purchased Skyrim via Steam, so it should be updated to latest version. Thank You so very much for any time and patience needed to answer this question. Much of the inventory ui shows up but there are question marks instead of keybindings at bottom. Nor can I type into the "search" filters, so I have disabled skyui for now.

I am SO very SORRY that I have not been able to get back on until tonight. Please forgive me for not thanking you and responding sooner. This is the first time I have been able to look at the reply to my question. I will look at the links provided and if it is OK I will ask for further assistance if I am still having issues. I did try to use the Nexus installer. I was able to download the mod with the installer but I could not figure out how to actually find the "install" command. I decided I better wait until I had heard back from you experts before I forced the issue. I can not thank you enough for your time and assistance! Hi, I have NEVER used or installed a mod before, so please excuse my basic question. I wanted to install the "Caliente's Beautiful Bodies Edition" mod (CBBE). I D/L'd the NMM but before I tried using the mod, I wanted to know if I can just install this one (stand alone). I did read their FAQ's but did not see this answered(may be too basic, as I know nothing about these). I read on other mods that a skeleton mod needed to be installed before using theirs but am not sure what skeleton I need, if any, for this (CBBE) one. I am playing Skyrim for the first time but was afraid I may ruin the game if I try installing the CBBE mod before asking if I can just install the mod by itself (no skeleton programs first etc). Please forgive my ignorance and thank you, so much, for your time and help with this! Max
