  1. I would like to build a base in an area where the Reefbacks congregate. It's beautiful there and sufficiently deep to build a huge base. The problem is the sound the areefbacks make is like nails on a chalkboard after a while. Ideally I would like to be able to turn off the sound inside the base (soundproofing you know?), or reduce the frequency or the volume. I don't want to turn off sounds, obviously, as you need your ears as much as your eyes in this game.
  2. Another reminder to adopt some best security practices. Use a different password for every website. Use complex passwords. Use 2 factors identification whenever it's available. This way when the unavoidable leak happens, your other sites are secure. A password manager makes this easy and will even warn you of potential breaches, like mine did for this site.
  3. I'm incredibly annoyed that after you have assigned a companion to one of your settlements you can never again get them to go back to their original home. This is a dumb oversight, bordering on being a bug. The original home of the companion should be available from the drop down menu.

So ideally I would like a mod that add to the send to menu their default home location.

If that's too difficult with the current modding tools, a simple way to reset it would be ok too,

Piper needs to go home to her sister, who leaves a teen on their own this long. Nick needs to go back to his office, his assistant misses him and he's miserable hanging around Red Rocket. Deacon has important work to do and he's tired of waiting around. And basically I'm sick of all of them hanging around wanting to talk to me constantly. lol. Yes I know i can exile them, but that's not what I want to do.

  4. i think this bugs most people, i think a lot of people cant wait till the c.k comes out for this reason alone.

however there are atlest 2 mods i believe that somewhat fix thoses houses however i think.. its too fixed as they use the textures of how the houses usedto look before the war, which is too bright too clean. I think if someone can retex them to make them dirty but use the meshes of the prewar houses then youll have what you want.

a newer mod I skim past I think allows you to add patches to houses unless I misunderstood it.

I my self am going to just remove the houses for my self when the geck comes out and place better looking houses from my point of view.

    That worked a treat. Thanks.

  5. I know about the gray face bug, it's all over the internet when you google it, along with the solution of exporting the face data after each modification of the NPC.

This appears to be different. The face is sort of grayish and kind of off. You can even tell the color is wrong when you look at it in the CK

I changed the custom hair. This is my first time trying to modify a follower so I am probably doing something wrong.

  6. I'd love to see a mod that offers auto-storage in a set of saddlebags that a horse can equip.

The auto-storage functionality is already offered here as a resource, so this shouldn't be too complicated a project.

It would have to be compatible with convenient horse, otherwise no one would want to use it.

I'd love to tackle a project like this but I have zero modding experience and wouldn't know where to start.

  7. I use this mod It makes wash basins usable. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59772/?

There are lots of them around. Most inns have either that or a wash tub. Some inns have nothing, which makes sense. In Whiterun there is one in the upstairs room in the Bannered Mare, and there is one in the Companion hall, next to kodlak bed.

Outside, I find that I do not need to immerse myself. So long as I'm only ankle deep, I can wash without suffering consequences.

Actually what I would like is for the author of the mod to support washing from a cast iron cooking pot while it's used in a camp. That would be quite realistic.

But I agree with you that freezing to death in a hot tub is immersion breaking.

  8. 2 GB of ram???? Frankly I'm surprised Skyrim even runs on this.

This machine is what, 7 years old? I'm surprised that Skyrim hasn't caused it to blow up in a big fiery ball visible from outer space.

I have an i7 with 12 GB of ram and a 1 GB AMD Radeon 5800 video card and it almost melted when I tried to run an ENB

Really, you need a better PC. Considering how low your specs are, you could buy a used PC and double or triple your specs.

It that's just not a possibility, go to the STEP wiki and follow the instructions to install the base ENB dll that will allow you to benefit from the VRAM boost. Don't actually install any ENB unless they are some out there for very very low end rig. Also make sure you have the latest SKSE.

Do not install the Skyrim HD texture packs. Look on the Nexus for texture files that are designed for low end machines.

Really, you are kinda totally handicapped with that rig.
