Kinetic spells (throw your enemies backwards) are always good, as they're simle to script, and a mark and recall is soooo easy to script (not, I think, in a staff, though), so maybe think of that!

I'll work on it, but I'll happily give over for anyone with any modelling skills, and I don't promisemuch, being very bad at this. But still, better than nothing.

If you want someone to make something for you, throwing around complicated Japanese terms and telling modders to look them up is not going to cut it. You actually have to explain what it is you want made, and provide decent pictures.

So, yes. I'm wondering how to make a transparent glass item for a mod I'm making. I'm taking the hanging brazier from the Fort Ruin set, and hope to retexture it a crystal color, but I've no clue how one makes it transparent. I've seen it done with some Glass weapon mods, though, so I know it can be done.
One catch: If anyone would be so kind as to help me (for kudos, no less) they'll need to keep in mind I only have the Gimp for photoediting, and nifskope.
Also, I need all advise ohrased in Stoopid N00d Modder Talk.
"Click the bit that says "XYZ" untill you can change what it says, and then make it say "ZYX" is good. "Alternatate thte nitristrip untill it's bozing a royal fweep'", however, is not gonna help.

I'm sorry, I have no idea how to do 'expand it.' All I understand how to do is redirect textures and occasionally remove stuff.

Well, I've taken a look at it, and the model you altered has a very, very funny UV mapping (I think is the term) that involvs glowmaps or something, and it's kinda borking up my retexturing attempts. Is there any way someone could make those same modifications to the regular mesh? I'd be happy to upload it somewhere if it'd help.
