Hello, If I wanted my character to have unique combat voice sounds (the grunts/shouts/yells etc. when swinging weapons, getting hit, sprinting, out of breath and so on) would the simplest way be to make a custom race with its own voice type? Also, where are those sounds referenced in the CK? I can find the femaleeventoned voice type that female nords use, but I couldn't figure out where the combat voice sounds were. I have the voice file reference tool, so I can find the files themselves in the voices bsa. Or does anyone know of a mod that does this? All I've been able to find is replacers, and I would prefer not to replace sounds that some npcs will use.
  2. Hello, I'm a beginner. I'm having trouble finding information on what I'd like to do. I'd like to expand the voice triggers in the mod Additional Player Voices, for my personal use only. I'm doing this for fun and to learn a little, not to release anything. At the moment I'm wanting to add triggers to opening chests: -maybe not all chests, it might get too repetitive, so maybe the boss chests only -ideally only ones in dungeons and not player homes, but I don't know if that is possible. Using only boss chests would help as I think only mod added homes would have these? I'm not sure, I know the Breezehome mod I use has one. My searching is failing me. I can find out how to replace chest opening sounds, but I want to add a sound to the event, not replace the existing one. I found one topic on adding sounds to a chest with the Creation Kit but it was only for the one specific chest, and I want it to affect all or only boss chests. I might think of more triggers I'd like to use, but this is enough to start learning. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
  3. Hello, I've been searching around for mods for an arcane archer style character but haven't been able to find what I want. There are mods like Elemental Arrows that let you craft arrows at the forge with a few magic effects, but that is not what I have in mind. I want to be able to pick a spell in the field to attach to an arrow. For example attach a firebolt to an arrow to shoot at a troll. Attach a summon like Frost Atronach to distract a group of bandits, spawning next to the bandit the arrow hits or where the arrow hits the ground or a wall. I think a mod like this would add a lot to a sneaky archer where you tend to spot enemies before they spot you, allowing you to prepare and plan out an attack in advance. Further, you would be able to queue up spells so the first arrow has the first spell attached, the second has the second spell, and so on. This ability could have a cap, 5 spells max queued for example, and be based on archery skill. A SkyUI widget showing the spell queue would be good to have. Spells queued / cast on an arrow wouldn't last long, 30 seconds or a minute, to prevent you forgetting you had a spell that could hurt/kill you when an enemy surprises you and is too close. It would be even better if a system like this worked dynamically so you could use spells from mods like Apocalypse and Lost Grimoire. I wish I could make a mod like this. Perhaps I should try to learn.
