Hi, I don't know why but the lightning bolt from the Storm call shout in my game is invisible. It still does damage, there are still spark impact here and there to indicate that it strikes, but the bolt it self is invisible. I have tried to mess around with the CK but to no avail. The only conclusion I make is that it is possibly relates to the mesh file since if I switch the nif file to that of Lightning bolt spell, the lightning is not invisible (the lightning from the spell however is too small to substitute the real lightning) So that's that. Can someone help me with this issue? Any help for a fix would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think it would be much easier to find the problem if you could attach your mod so others can examine it.

Question about Necromage and Spell Absorbtion...

There is one difference between the two cases. If you are vampire and take atronach blessing, only the blessing is added and since necromage is presented, it is boosted. When you cure yourself of vampirism, necromage is not the only thing removed, your race is also changed. When race is changed, it is possible (maybe not) that the blessing will be recalculated. That means the same logic can not be applied to the cases and to know for sure, you need to test in-game. -
Hm, maybe i can help. But you are right about absorption effect, it is the most difficult and i am unable to make the conversion process. The most i can do is the second scenerio you proposed.

As i have said, it is possible but the enchantment's magnitude would not be altered through any means, or at the very least, not at the same pace and way as ordinary enchantment would- 6 replies

I appreciate what uskp has been doing but I hate how they keep changing what they deem to be bug and label them "incorrect". What if that's bethesda's intention? Afterall there are 2 versions of absorb magicka and stamina anyway just like resist magic. Enchantment of shield of solitude is so great to be "fixed" -
Not that complicated, there is a faction which prevent dragon from flying. Simply add that faction to the dragon and it is done. I dont remember the faction's correct name but the skeletal dragon is in it, just take a look at it

Yes it should be If akcaster == game.getplayer() Spell.cast(akcaster) Endif You can assign Player to akcaster if the condition is met but that would be redundant -

LE Shout uses Stanima instead of cooldown.

Just set the cooldowns for all shouts to 1 second or maybe less. Then make each shout/word consume some certain points of stamina. I think it would be game breaking though... Shouts which had high cooldown would cost high stamina, so it would be impossible to trigger them at lower levels. Stamina would become way too important among 3 attributes. Amulet Of Talos and other shout cooldown enhancing bonuses would become utterly uneffective. It could conflict with tons of other mods, or maybe wouldn't even do well together with others. This idea really isn't so necessary. Shouts can be OP sometimes, but it's always your choice whether to use them or not. We had no shouts at previous Elder Scrolls games, we had no separate powers button at all. Choice to use them is totally up to you. Point is you can cast shout even when you dont have stamina if you simply set the shout to consume stamina. Im thinking for shout to trigger another spell through script to prevent that from happening. -

No you didnt establish anything, Ulfric is racist or not is entirely based on personal opinion, not settled fact since there is no fact to begin with. I find him racist because of the attitude of the people in his city which is sharply different from those in imperial territory. Want to know the leader, look at his people. If he is not racist, i find it hard to believe Winhelm nord residence would be that negative, especially considering how they worship him -

Here what i think should work: If target.haskeyword (actortypenpc) ;has that keyword => target is npc; Caster.advskill(enchanting, amount) Else If target.getlevel == 1 ;not npc and level 1 => petty soul; Caster.advskill(enchanting, pettyamount) Elseif target.getlevel <= 6 ;level <= 6 means lesser soul; Caster.advskill(enchanting, lesseramount) ....... (The same process for other type of soul since for creatures, level determines soul size so level can also be used to determine how much exp yo grant)- 11 replies

Lspells means leveled spells. they are usually used to give npcs different spells based on his level. It is possible for dragonpriest to cast spells directly added to it but you need to pay attention to the spell's equipping slot- 2 replies

The problem with that argument is, Vivec achieved CHIM. He is one of only two known beings to have done so (Talos being the other). He is inherently different than the other Tribunes because of that. As for the in-game book thing... Well, such is your prerogative. Some of the most informative pieces of information, however, have never appeared in game. The Nu-Mantia Intercept, Shor; son of Shor, The Trial of Vivec, Loveletter from the 5th Era and Cyrus' meeting with Vivec to name but a few. You are free to refuse to accept them as canon, but I personally feel your understanding and enjoyment of the TES universe is diminished because of that. Again, you speak of Vivec achieving CHIM as if it is canon which contradicts to your previous statement "no one knows anything for sure". If the origin of universe, which is written in book, is not entirely sure to be correct as you stated; then Vivec achieving CHIM, which is not appear in-game, can not be any more certain than it. Regarding your list, yes they may be informative but obscure and unconfirmed. Even the comment of librarian at the start of page http://www.imperial-library.info/content/trial-vivec give me the impression this should not be taken seriously. There is reason for those to not be added in UESP and I don't think not taking unofficial source would have any impact on my understanding of the TES world. But anyway that's not the point. The point I have been trying to say all along is, you are free to know the TES world as you wish, you are free to share your TES world as you wish but please don't make it sound like your world is the absolute world, that your understanding of TES world is what Beth devs aimed for us to believe; and finally, please don't deny other's world by stating the 'proof' from your own world. That could be very annoying for those who doesn't share the view as yours. -

Shouts are treated as magical damage, so fire/frost shouts from dragon are weakened by Elemental Protection as well.
